Hot and sunny.
I didn't sleep well last night. It was hot, but more than that, I was worried about something my husband said to me yesterday. I didn't really get to talk to him about it so I don't know if he was "joking" or just plain crazy. I'm hoping the answer is joking. Except it wasn't funny.
I got up at a decent time today, vegged, and then cooked and ate lunch. I had a ham and cheese omelette.
I took off for the school a little before two. I made a stop at the convenience store along the way to grab a sandwich. I know from experience that Tuesdays can be long if I don't have a bit of a snack.
I got to work right away. I also had to turn on my air conditioner as it was really hot in my school. Sigh. I did a bit of dusting and tidying and then it was time for my student to come. We had a good class and I think she enjoyed it.
During my break time, I set up for my next class, then I read a bit of Prince Caspian. My student came right on time and we had a good class. He picks things up really fast, so we actually finished what we were going to do in class and had to play a spelling/phonics game. That was fun.
My last class had one student missing, but the other student and I enjoyed ourselves. We worked on word pairs and adverbs. Time went by quickly really.
After I cleaned up, Fumihiko came and picked me up. We stopped at the grocery store for some milk and mayonnaise, then came home. I started getting dinner ready right away. Fumihiko made coffee and helped me make the French Fries. I'd never bought frozen fries before in Japan. We did them in our toaster oven. They were okay. We had salad, and leftover roast pork sandwiches, plus the fries. It wasn't a bad dinner. The house didn't get all hot from cooking either. Just the toaster oven!
Fumihiko did the dishes, and I turned on The Faculty. It's sort of a Invasion of the Body Snatchers set in a high school. It's fun. I've seen it a couple of times, but always got a laugh out of it. I watched Criminal Minds tonight, and I am sure that I've seen the episode before. It's a first run on my channel so I think it must have been on TV in Canada last time I was there. At least that's what I think.
Fumihiko had his bath and went to bed fairly early, and honestly, I should get off to bed myself. I'm quite tired tonight.
Catch you tomorrow night? Hope so. Night night.
