Sunny and warm. Nice day!
I slept in this morning and I did it with full knowledge and malice aforethought! Today was my last chance for a couple of days to have an extra snooze in the morning so I took full advantage of it. I woke up first with hubby's alarm clock and had a mini coughing fit. Today I sounded like I'd been smoking for about 10 years, so some definite improvement there. I went back to sleep soon afterwards.
I got up around noon, showered and just relaxed. I had thought about going to the post office to get some revenue stamps, but didn't. I watched Medium from earlier this week and then while I ate lunch a couple of Friends episodes. I saw the end of Season 9, the double barrel one in Barbados. It was cute.
I biked off to the school and set up for the day. I planned my student's next lesson and thought about my new student's lesson for tomorrow. I was going to change it, but then I decided that I think she needs extra practice with it anyway. If she finds it easy we can move through it quickly and then go on.
After class was over I texted hubby and he came to get me. We drove home and spent a little bit of quality time together.
I cooked dinner tonight. I made stir-fried pork with kimchee and tofu. I put some nameko mushrooms in too, but they weren't a success. I wouldn't use them again. The tofu was nice though. I didn't use an egg because I only had two left and I need them for my daily omelette.
Fumihiko was so tired that I gave him a pass on the dishes. He had a nap on the couch, then took his bath. He's back on the couch, but he's long past napping now He is out! I'm going to have fun waking him up to get him off to bed.
Anyway, that was my day. Tomorrow I have my new student, my "favourite" child student and a long time student that I enjoy teaching. However, my voice is still quite hoarse. I just hope that I can make it all the way through my lessons. Wish me luck!
Night night. (PS... the cherry blossoms are out now and look gorgeous. I keep forgetting to take pictures, but for those of you in Japan, you know what they look like anyway!)
