Rainy all day. Bleck.
Today was pretty good. I managed to get up at a decent time and had a nice chat with my friend on Yahoo. I cooked myself a splendid breakfast and then headed off to my school.
I did get fairly wet on my way there because it was really raining, but not as bad as I did yesterday. I changed my clothes, hung up the wet ones and got to work. I checked that everything was prepared and then my student arrived.
Both lessons went well today, the kids seemed to be really interested. Yay!
I came home and did some computer stuff, then Fumihiko came home around 6. We went out for dinner at 7. No big deal, just Cocos. We came home after that and watched Sin City. I'd seen it when I was in Canada last year and loved it. It never did play at the theater here. I got the dvd a few months ago and really wanted to see it again. Poor Fumihiko didn't like it. He did like the look of the film, but not the story. He thinks if people get shot they should die! It was based on a graphic novel so of course it's going to be a bit unrealistic! No biggie, right! I thought the idea of Bruce Willis playing a nearly 60 year old cop who then spends 8 years in jail and looks exactly the same when he comes out to be a bit odd. And on top of that, the lovely young Nancy, 19 year old exotic dancer falls in love with him. Hmmm. So, the guy's pushing 70 and a sweet young thing wants to get down and dirty with him. I don't think so! Okay, so she's been in love with him since he saved her life, but really. Classic male fantasy!
And that was my day. I'm off to a wedding tomorrow and we won't be back until Monday, so don't miss us too much. I'll talk to you later. Night night.
