Hot and sunny.
A strange day. Last night I went to bed before Fumihiko. I prepared the chicken for tandori style cooking, then went to bed. Fumihiko didn't come for a while, and then when he did, he sighed and moaned and tossed and turned. I didn't get much sleep. He got up around 4 and slept on the couch. That woke me up again, so I got up and went to the washroom. When I came back to bed it was dark in the bedroom and I misjudged where I was on the bed. I whacked my head into the bedhead. I said a rude word and Fumihiko came running. It was loud!
In the morning he took out garbage, which is a good thing, but he made a lot of noise, which was a bad thing. Sigh. When I finally got up at 8:30 I was exhausted and ready to go back to sleep!
Work was okay today. I wasn't very busy. One of my classes cancelled because she was in a meeting and then in another, a student came for the first time to my class. That was good.
After work, Fumihiko called me and then picked me up. We came home and I cooked the tandori chicken. We had chicken and veggies and salad, and Fumihiko had nan. It was a nice meal. It was a lot of work preparing the chicken for grilling, but it was worth it afterwards.
He did dishes (my hero!) and then we watched Monk. Now we're just chilling out. I tried to phone Katie to wish her a happy birthday, but we must have missed her. I left a short message on the voice mail. Sigh.
And that's my day. It turned out okay, even though I didn't think it would. Night night!
