January 2, 2002 - Wednesday

Kind of a boring day.

I got up late, and so did Fumihiko. We had breakfast and watched some TV, same as always.

I got tired of the abysmal TV so I went upstairs and played with our Play Station 2 for a while. After I got tired of that I checked my email and did a bit of work on my homepage.

Before supper, Fumihiko and I took a trip! We first went to my school to check the mail. I wanted to take any of my New Year cards that were there and I wanted to check if I'd turned off the heater the last time I was there. I had, thank goodness! I got two cards from an Otaru student, so that was really nice! When I came down to join him, he was out talking to Shimi. We thanked each other for our cards, hers was totally handmade and very cute! I only got two this year, so far.

Then we headed to my apartment. We needed to make a few more New Year Cards for the people that had sent cards to us, but we hadn't sent to them! Fumihiko asked me to make them like the ones I made for my friends, so I did. It didn't take that long. While I was doing that, he wrote the cards and did the heat gun work, so it went really quickly! While we did that we drank some hot cocoa and Fumihiko also had some onion soup.

When we came home we ate supper, oyster nabe and potato salad and rice. Then nothing. I read the English newspaper that I'd pinched from school (I promise to return it though), and listened to some ghastly TV.

I think we'll all be going to bed soon, his Mum is in the bath, which is a sign that we should go soon too. Tomorrow might be busy as Fumihiko's sister and her family is coming over too. Wish me luck! I hope all goes well.

And that's it. Good night!

Oh yeah, I promised you an update on last night. We went out for a drive. We drove around Sakata and then back to Tsuruoka. We ended up in Mosburgers where we had burgers and fries and onion rings. Then we came home. Really. That's it!

Was it worth the wait?
