CHAPTER 3
Later that night I went with Joey to O-TOWN TREATS to hang out. He really loves to order the chiken sandwich with fries and hold the tomato. And we shared the fries and he got us a milkshake but only one straw. But all i could think about besdies joey was how justin and I havent been as close lately.
A couple weeks have passed by and Justin and I havent done our usual saturday thing at all. So i knew something was really wrong but he wouldnt talk to me no matter what i tried. But lately I have been very happy also because of Joey. He seems to have really changed since we started going out. He doesnt flirt with other girls and he is always sweet to me. He brings me a red rose everyday at school and he even invited me to his little sister's birthday party this weekend. I was really excited because this meant our relationship was getting deeper. When the weekend came around I kinda felt like I was forgetting something but i didnt give it much thought cuz I had to get ready for the party and the nervousness of meeting Joey's family was taking up all my time anyway. Before the party I was helping set everything up and I was picking out the music for later. Once the party started joey and I were also dancing with the kids and I noticed that joey sure knows how to groove on the dance floor. He seemed very sweet with all the little kids and I thought it was so cute. Anyway a couple of hours later the party was over and joey drove me home and thanked me for helping out and for coming. Then it happened, for the past weeks that we have been dating joey only kissed me on my cheeks but this time he gave me a sweet kiss on my lips. I got out of the car and went into the livingroom and joey pulled away in his car. When I turned on the lights there was Justin all dressed up and he looked like he was ready to cry. I asked him what was wrong, "Talene think back to a couple of months ago on November 3, do u remember what happened on that day?" " Not really, what?" "you told me on my 18th birthday we would go out somewhere special together and......... " "oh my gosh I cant believe I forgot I am so sorry Justin, I completely got caught up in Joey that I forgot, Talene said"
Justin smirked sarcasatically at me when I said I was with joey as if that wasn't the first time i forgot about him to be with joey which it was.
I asked Justin to wait for me while i go change and he didnt answer. When I cam back downstairs he was gone. But i didint blame him beause I am supposedly his best friend and I forgot one of the most important occasions of his life. What was I going to do now???????
