10     Clara Jickling (1869-1894)

Clara Jickling was born on 29 Dec 1869 to Robert and Julia Jickling. She married the Rev. John Humphreys on 4 Sep 1890. We have the family group photograph taken on her wedding day at the Jickling homestead. Humphreys was from Grimsburg, England and served as the pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Comstock. Later he served the Congregational Church in Hillsdale, MI and Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Clara was a teacher. She died at age 24 on 29 Sep 1894 and was buried at the Riverside Cemetery, Kalamazoo.
