Something just didn't seem right. "Well if he's afraid of dying then why is he doing this?"
“My trainer, Saradim, said that Shandago, or the Evil One, had taken over Ryan. But nothing is perfect. Everything and everyone has a flaw or a weakness. Ryan's is the fear of death. The reason why he's doing this is because of Shandago. But not even he can take over the biggest fear of most criminals. Death. But like they say, death is only the beginning."
"And that means what?"
"Well, I'm dead but I'm still around. When Ryan is killed, there will be a final face off. Ryan will have the chance to turn back but if he doesn't he will die along with the rest of his evil army."
Nick's View
All of a sudden the ninja stopped talking and the face of it went white. "Guys take care of Shane. I have to go." She disappeared and the room went silent.
"I wonder what happened."
"I don't know Nick but let's do what it said and take care of Shane." Kevin took over his role as "big brother" and began giving orders. "Howie, please call an ambulance and tell them we've got a drugged friend. Nick, go downstairs and wait for it. AJ see if you can wake him up and Brian, go get a Dr. Pepper from the vending machine down the hall." Everyone scattered to do their jobs and I headed downstairs.

Downstairs, I sat on a couch and waited for the ambulance. But something didn't feel right. It was like I was being watched. I looked around for anything out of place and didn't see anything. But the feeling didn't leave. Finally, just as the ambulance arrived, I saw him. He was in the shadows of a fichus (fi-cus) tree and I could see the hook by his side. I looked around for anyone to help but there was no one. I looked back toward the tree and saw he was gone. "Holy shit," I muttered, "he could've gone upstairs!" I headed for the stairs, knowing they were quicker, and tripped the fire alarm as a warning. I raced up three floors and flew down the hallways to get to my room. As I neared my hallway, I started screaming. "BRIAN! DON'T OPEN THE DOOR! DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR!" Over and over I told my best friend not to open the door of death, hoping he would listen.
