"Saradim! Saradim, where are you?"
"Right here my child."
"Saradim, what happened down there? I didn't know I was gonna have to use my body as a shield!"
"Well, be happy because that act of bravery-"
"Bravery?! I did that because I love the man!"
"Okay, okay. That act of love bought you your ticket of life so congratulations."
"What? I made it back? Whoo-hoo! Yes! I did it! This is-" I stopped when I saw the expression on Saradim's face.
"Saradim, what's wrong?"
"Nothing. I'm just going to miss you. That's all."
"What? You're gonna miss me? Why?"
"In the short time I've known you, I've felt something different about you. You have a care, a love and a respect for who you are, why you're here and the Power that called for you. Also I've never had a student that I could call a friend." I sat down next to him.
"Saradim, it's because they're my friends. I wouldn't be this willing for just anybody. And you know I grew up in a Christian home."
"Yes my child I know. But it's not everyday I'm sad to see my trainee leave."
"Do you think it's because I'm leaving this place all together and not just your class?"
"Probably. I'm afraid I won't see you again."
"Hey, my friends were scared of the same thing and even though I've appeared to them, they still are. I know that this is your place and you can't go back like I can but you can come down every once in awhile until I die because of old age can't you?"
"Well yes but it won't be the same."
"Nothing will ever be the same. It's just one of those thing and sometimes you have to accept that and go on. At least it's better than never seeing me again."
"Yes…"
"Besides I'll be back on day. And that time it'll be for good. Just think about it. I'm going to check on Shane then figure out the best way to reveal myself."
"Okay dear." I left him there and walked away. As I did I realized that I didn't tell him that I'd miss him too.
Shane's View
The last thing I remembered was coming home from the club and the next thing I knew I was in a hospital bed. Somewhere in there I can remember Brian dragging me out of bed and somewhere else but that isn't much of a memory.
"Are you okay?" I sat up to find Kat, looking very real I might add, sitting at the end of my bed.
"I feel like I have a hangover without the headache."
"Well people who have been drugged will feel like that. Do you feel well enough to leave?"
"Well, yeah…"
"Then let's go. Being what I am, I was able to check you out as soon as you woke up. Here put your clothes on so I won't have to see your naked rear-end through the back of that hospital gown."

At the hideout, Kat said the blue ninja had news. "Something really big has happened and Saradim cleared it. The ninja will be here soon."
