Chapter 12

Kat's View

"Saradim? I'm ready." He turned around and I saw something that wasn't allowed in heaven: tears. "Oh Saradim. No, those aren't allowed up here."

"I can't help it. I'm going to miss you."

"I'm gonna miss you too but I'll be back and you promised to come down and visit me."

"But like I said it won't be the same."

"And like I said it's better than nothing. Now come on. I have some people to make happy." I gave him a hug. "Besides, I'm not gone yet. I still have to do away with Ryan and you're gonna be my right hand angel at the final battle. So don't get sentimental on me yet."

Outside the hideout, Saradim and I stood on the eternal side of the dimensional wall. I looked at him and he looked at me. He nodded and we made our way up to the guys room.

Brian's View

No one had moved since Kat left. We were all waiting and we didn't have to wait long. First we saw blue then we felt the room get cold. "Here I am."

"Kat said you had some news. So spill."

Count on AJ to get to the point. "Well after our latest run-in with Ryan, I found out something very important. That meant-for Brian bullet that I took was my ticket to reveal myself. It was also Kat's ticket to a second chance."

"But if you took the bullet then why does Kat get to come back?"

The ninja came closer and removed it's mask. All was silent. Then she whispered, "Because I am Kat." There she stood. After wanting to she her in the flesh for so long, she was finally there. "I know it's probably no surprise but you wanted to know. So here I am." There was no denying the tears in her eyes. I stood up and went over to her. By the time I was directly in front of her, she was shaking and the tears were making trails down her face. Saying nothing, I opened my arms and embraced her.

Then I whispered, "Thank you for taking the bullet." She tried to be strong but she ended up collapsing in my arms.

"I'm so sorry but I had to earn it. If I could've told you earlier I would've but it was against the rules. I would've gotten into major trouble and my chance would've been lost forever."

"Shhh. It's okay. You'll be coming back after this and that's all that matters." I motioned for Shane to come and take her. He put his hand on her shoulder and she turned around to face him.

"Shane!" She moved over to him and held him tightly for a few minutes. Then she got up and hugged everyone else. Finally she looked at empty spot on her left. "Are you gonna make an appearance of what?" Another flash of light brightened the room and a young man with brown hair, bright blue eyes and one heck of a tan appeared next to her. "Guys this is my trainer and dear friend, Saradim."

"You know you look a lot like me," I said.

He smiled. "That's because I'm your guardian angel."
