Chapter 12 - Revenge

The rest of the day kind of dragged on. I mean, we spent most of it on the tour buses. Exciting, huh? If you think being on tour is all fun and games, well, think again. It involves a lot of early-morning wake-up calls, boring soundchecks, and LONG hours on the bus. But it's all worth it in the end.

So we got to Minneapolis, did the show, etc. When we got back, Korin and I set up her little revenge on AJ. Then we went to our rooms and sat back and waited.

AJ stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist. Then he walked out into his room and opened his suitcase. But there were no clothes in it. He started frantically searching around the room, but his clothes were gone. And he had a feeling he knew the culprit.

"KORIN!!!!" he yelled as he stormed into her room.

"Yes AJ?" she replied, looking up from her magazine, trying to look innocent.

Unfortunately, Korin isn't good at looking innocent, no matter how hard she tries.

"Korin! I dated you for a long time. I know you! You did it!" he yelled angrily.

"Did what? Oh, and why are you walking around the hotel in a towel? I hate to break it to you, but only preteen girls are interested in your chest," she replied with a smirk.

"Oh don't start with me. You know you stole my clothes! And I'm going to find them!"

He immediately started searching through her room.

"Alexander James McLean! You have NO right to search through my stuff!" Korin yelled in vain.

It didn't stop him. After a few minutes, he realized they weren't in her room. And if they weren't in Korin's room, who's room would they be in? Hmm, I wonder.

"KRISTEN LEE!!!" he yelled as he threw open my door.

I was lying on my bed, working on a new dance song, with my portable keyboard next to me. When I heard him yell, I looked up from my notebook.

"Who the HELL told you my middle name? Oh, and nice outfit. It really brings out your eyes," I said with a straight face.

Unlike Kori, I can actually look innocent. See, I have naturally dark brown eyes. I just wear turquoise-colored contacts most of the time. At the time, though, I had my contacts out. Korin says the reason I can look innocent and she can't is the dark eyes. I say it's a gift.

"Kristy, cut the crap. I know you're in on this little prank of Korin's. So where the fuck are my clothes?" he yelled angrily.

"What clothes?" I asked innocently.

"KRISTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" he screamed.

I sat up and backed up on my bed. He was really starting to scare me. He had this look in his eyes that frightened me, and considering the fact that he was a great deal larger and stronger than me, I gave in.

"Ok ok, they're in my closet," I said.

He stormed over to my closet and yanked his clothes out. Korin made the mistake of walking into my room.

"Oh, AJ, I see you found your clothes," she said.

"Korin, I am NOT happy with you. Kristy, I can forgive, but you, no. That was SO not funny!" he yelled.

"Actually, it was," she replied.

"KORIN!!!"

"Yes?"

"I MEAN IT! YOU'VE GONE TOO FAR THIS TIME! I SHOULD NEVER, EVER, HAVE BEEN FRIENDS WITH YOU, LET ALONE GONE OUT WITH YOU!"

I chose this moment to step in.

"Um, guys, I'm not getting much songwriting done. And even though everyone seems to think that this room is their room, let me remind you that it is MY room! MY ROOM! SO GET OUT!" I yelled. I was not in the mood to listen to another one of their arguements.

"FINE!" Korin yelled and she and AJ went into her room.

"I HATE YOU KORIN!" AJ yelled.

"AJ, GET OUT! NOW!" she replied.

"FINE KORIN, I WILL. JUST SAY THE WORDS AND I'M OUTTA HERE!"

She opened her mouth to say them, but she couldn't.

"I DIDN'T THINK SO!" he yelled.

"I'm sorry if you hate me, AJ. Because I love you," she said quietly.

"Y-you...you WHAT?"

"I-I love you. I loved you the night I left your apartment AJ, and I never stopped," she said, trembling.

AJ's face immediately softened.

"Come here, Kori," he said.

She walked over to him. When she got there, he pulled her into his arms and kissed her. She pulled back at first, shocked, but then she kissed him. They made out passionately for several minutes. When they pulled back, they found me, Brian, Kevin, Alta, Karen, Howie, Elissa, and Nick standing in the room, applauding.

"It took you guys long enough!" I said.

"Only a day more than you and Bri!" Korin shot back.

I just shrugged.

We left Korin and AJ to be by themselves, and we all split back into the couples. As I fell asleep in Brian's arms, I realized that everyone had gotten together - everyone had what they wanted.
