I see Him in the morning sunrise
Leaving all impurity behind.
That emerges from the blue,
And fondly gazes down at earth
That's grassy, wet with dew.
I see Him in the cloudy maze
That precedes a summer shower,
Which gently saturates the trees
And rejuvenates each flower.
I see Him in the budding rose
That adorns the earth's face,
And spreads its petals far and wide
With gentleness and grace.
I see Him in the crystal brook
That's cool and clear and fine,
And dribbles about in a ceaseless
stream
I see Him in the winging birds
That travel high above,
Singing with harmonies so rich
Their melodies of love.
I see Him in the newborn babe
At whom Mother proudly beams,
And knows her cup has overflowed
Like a miracle, it seems.
I see Him in the setting sun
That tells us day is done,
And envelopes all in shades of
night,
I see God, yes, He's the one!
Will You Be
Remembered?
Will you be remembered
By the lies you told,
Or the truth you spread to all?
Will you be remembered
For those you lifted,
Or those that you let fall?
Will you be remembered
By your much worn smile,
Or by your constant frown?
Will you be remembered as mostly up,
Or always with head cast down?
Will you be remembered
As one who sought
To ease another's pain?
Will you be remembered
As one who thought
Of nothing but your own gain?
Will you be remembered
As one who wished
For others to succeed?
Will you be remembered
As one who gloried
In only your own greed?
Make your mark
While here on earth,
For when your term is through;
The God above
Who never forgets
Will surely remember you.
