As the backdraft explodes into ecstasy.
The call has been made to summon a response
For the firefighter’s alarm is now.
Always in the ready for flames to be extinguished
With the rushing stream of fluids that inundate the call.
Deep within the fiery passion lies the bliss of peace.
As the air excites the burning desires,
The crescendo of heat builds to a deafening roar.
With none to hear but his breath and the flames.
The swiftness with which the passions are subdued
Is a testimonial to the strength and prowess of the fireman.
His desires to squelch the flames of passion
Assure the furtherance of sensual pleasures to come.
The courage and fortitude with which passions are relieved
Will be the firefighters' response to duty.
Ready and capable to master the flames as they swell
Into walls of ecstasy that signal the firebell to resound in glory.
