I use fresh when available, but usually end up using canned veggies, drained. Can also use frozen.
- 1 can green beans
- 1 can baby limas
- 1 can whole kernel corn
- 1 can petit pois (tiny) green peas
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp flour
- 1/2 cup milk or cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cracker crumbs
- White sauce
- Prepare a white sauce.
- Mix all veggies together and stir into the white sauce.
- Pour into sprayed baking dish and top with cracker crumbs. Bake until heated through... OR... serve without baking.
