- 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter
- 2 tsp flour (thin); 3 tsp flour (med); 4 tsp flour (thick)
- 1 cup milk
- Melt butter in skillet on low heat.
- Stir in flour until smooth.
- Add milk a little at a time until you get the consistency you want. (Adjust milk as necessary.)
