Yes. We do have a copyright. So we filed in a form with the federal government? No. What?

You see, a copyright covers all created works from the instant of creation. In other words, once we have made up a character, or write up a story, or draw up an image, we own all rights to its uses.

However, not everything in our stories is ours. Many of the characters are either designed by Hasbro (ie. Manterror), or are names they own from previous characters (ie. Prowl). And since we will be mentioning the Beast Wars, and some of the Characters from the Beast Wars (and even G1), we must note that Hasbro owns them too. We admit all of this! Why?

If we didn't, Hasbro could sue us. Now, to adress any concers over Hasbro's rights. We are not recieving any money from this. So as far as we can see, Hasbro shouldn't be too worried about us. If they do, and they see this, please let us know so we can either come to an agreement, or so we can cease and desist this infringement of your rights.

Now back to our copyright. All of our original material is ours. The copyright is not formally registered, but is legitimate. We have rights in court to persue infringements if we so choose, as long as we have posted the copyright notice. One day, if this does go further, we may apply for a formal copyright. But that doesn't mean this one isn't legit. It is.

So, we've worked hard on Beast Hunters, please dont steal our ideas. If you wish to use them, please contact us. We greatly apreciate your cooperation in this matter.
