I think this scripture is one of the coolest in the Bible. God says to imperfect man, all of humanity, let us reason together. Well, if you look at it from Gods point of view, there is no reasoning with a perfect God. God will get what God wants. And yet he makes a way for us to voice our desires. For us that means, that if our desire is him, we have a way to have him. As God, he is to be desired above all things. Even if something else looks more appealing, to have God is always more fulfilling. If we are willing, are we? If we are not, hmmm, bad thing. If we are not willing, to accept a free gift, we will be devoured. Not physically, but mentally, emotionally, spiritually, if we give that place to our enemy, he has legal right to devour it!!! Bummer huh!?! But if we give it to God, he has the ability to restore it!! Cool huhu!?! So lets trust our King, and be willing and obedient. To all that he says.
