SOMETHING TO LIVE FOR - A 'ZINE
This is a 'Zine I started putting out a while ago.
Soon I will have the first two issues here on this site. If you cannot wait until then you can e-mail me because I did print the first two issues. They are beautiful.
Because you need to know what they are about - I will tell you.
ISSUE NO. 1
below the water and above/means so much/seabound/blood victims/desert/butterfly/lost and apart/falling man/falling/last man/lifesaver/crimson/tenderly remembered/demons
The Last Man
Waiting in line to see the last man alive, jumping from foot to foot.
This is a sad sight to see, clapping hands in anticipation.
There on a stool sits a small hopeless boy. He is the last. There is no mercy.
A little girl ahead of me points at him and laughs, hollow and dry.
She's old already, old enough to know that it is hopeless. That he is the last man alive.
ISSUE NO. 2
the morning after/waterfall/the head on the door/liquid/m/e/i/end of a friendship/stop change/the same/hole/unbearable
liquid
the liquid ceiling, a wavering carpet, is solid when i reach to touch it.
and i grow as i reach, eight feet now, and i don't know where i'll stop.
my eye is as big as a hand. i can see everything. all the things you never wanted me to see.
but my head spins when i close my eyes.
and night is everything. so big. it swallows me whole.
some things are just too big. and this darkness is too big for me.
and opening my eyes again i see the ceiling closing in on me.
