Gardening ... Crafting ... Rock Music Concerts ... 4-Wheeling ...Camping

We share, with family, the expense of a one room cabin with a boat dock, on a lake, in Calaveras County, California. Our summer weekends are spent there for the most part. Mostly we eat too much and drink too much and play too many card games, but it is usually a pretty good time.
We get nice sun tans.

When ever we get the chance we trek on over to Nevada for some not so serious casino slot machine play. The slot tournaments we have been in are great fun. We don't generally win, but we have one hell of a good time.

Camping in remote areas of the Sierra Nevada or on the Pacific Coast is still our most favorite thing to do.

E.J. is the gardener, both for his occupation and his hobby. I am learning the outdoor stuff, but I am into house plants and my crafts. We rock out at music concerts, watch alot of movies, try to spend time together and then there's the internet and now Football!!!

Does'nt this look yummy? I still remember the first time I ever saw one of these kinds of lollipops. I was a child (about 5 I think) and for some reason we were at the airport, can't remember who we were there for, but there it was, stuck in a stand in the gift shop, the biggest, most colorful lollipop I had ever seen! I must have really been impressed by this shop because they also had creamy taffy's with little faces in the centers. I had never seen anything like that! Whew! Our minds get strange as we get older don't they? My parents must not have let me have one, since it seems to be such a big deal in my memory! Well, Mom, I got one now and this one won't hurt my teeth! *grin*
