What You'll Need
...the main stuff
3 cucumbers
3-4 firm tomatoes (roma is a good one...sometimes referred to as "plum" tomatoes)
1 bunch of green onions (only using the greens, save the white bulbs for soup)
...spices
black pepper...2 tbsp...this is safe to start off with, increase bite with increase quantities
garlic...fill your palm with powder...or take 2 cloves, use whole bulbs (cleaned up of course)
ginger...fresh root
sesame oil...1/4 to 1/2 cup
soy sauce...3 tbsp...this would be the sodium additive
vinegar...white distilled...2 to 3 cups
water...enough to immerse all the ingredients in a big bowl
...extras
bell peppers...sliced in half circles
serrano chiles...just 1-2 is all you'll need, diced
radishes...1 bunch, sliced
What To Do With The Stuff
cut up the tomatoes and cucumbers into biteable pieces
mix everything in the BIG bowl, make sure it's all immersed in the liquid mix
set in refrigerator...best results are 2-3 hours of good soaking
serve and eat...
best served with rice and meat of your choice...
uh, that's white rice...and the meat of your choice
