December 1st, 1938

Rush-hour-only bus commences during this afternoon's rush, from a counterclockwise loop via west on St. Clair Avenue, south on Vaughan Road and north on Bathurst Street, then west on St. Clair, north on Raglan Avenue, east on Heathdale Road and north on Bathurst to wye at Glencairn Avenue. Service sponsored and subsidised by the Township of North York (50%), York Township (25%), and the Village of Forest Hill (25%). Transfers (using EGLINTON WEST transfers punched "SPECIAL") allowed to and from FOREST HILL and EGLINTON WEST routes in suburban zone 1 only. No transfers allowed to city services.

BATHURST	ST. CLAIR GLENCAIRN
Monday to Saturday, rush hours sign assumed

September 14th, 1939

Transfers now allowed to and from OAKWOOD, ROGERS RD, WESTON, VAUGHAN, EGLINTON WEST and FOREST HILL routes.

July 22nd, 1940

Extended west along Glencairn to wye at Dufferin Street. Weekday hours changed to 6:20 to 9:30 a.m., 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and 10:30 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday service added from 6:00 to 9:30 a.m., 12 noon to 1:30 p.m., 7:00 to 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 to 11:00 p.m.

December 5th, 1940

VAUGHAN transfers (punched "SPECIAL") now used.

March 29th, 1941

Last night trip changed to 11:30 p.m. instead of 11:00 p.m.

April 5th to May 2nd, 1941

Temporarily diverted via north on Bathurst, west on Glen Park Avenue and south on Woodmount on account of road conditions.

October 5th, 1941

Sunday and holiday service started, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and from 10:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

BATHURST	ST. CLAIR DUFFERIN
Daily, rush hours sign assumed

December 1st, 1941

Transfers allowed to and from new GILBERT bus.

February 23rd, 1942

Weekday service to commence at 1:30 p.m.

April 23rd, 1942

Southern terminus moved to the new Vaughan Loop.

Vaughan Loop, looking west to Vaughan Road on its second day of use—April 24th, 1942—with Twin Coach model 23-R number 705 at the loading platform, while A-3 class PCC 4214 lays over at the north end of the BATHURST streetcar line.
