I have a flying squirrel. They make wonderful pets, but it is important that you do a lot of research before getting one because, like all exotic pets/wild animals, they do require specialized care. If you are actually interested in getting one, I suggest that you go to NFSA.us and join the message boards. That's the NAtional Flying Squirrel Assotiation. There is a load of information and you can talk to lots of current owners about them!
