We purchesed both of these cars with most of the body work done. The Chevelle only non-original thing on the Chevelle is the removal of the parchment vinal top and the color is almost impossible to match. The truck already recived an almost perfect paint job before we got it. During the restorations we took great care to protect the paint. The Chevele was raised off the frame in one peice, we left the front clip, grill and most everything else attached. The car was then raised using a combination of a fork lift and ratchet straps hung from the celling of our shop. The truck was tataly disassembled, the front clip is sitting wraped up in blankets on the floor. We jacked up the frame and put carts under the sides of the cab, lowered the frame and roled the cab in to a corner for later instalment. We did the same with the box. |
