Meet O-Town, the hottest new boy-band on the block and stars of the Making the Band series in America. But has continually being followed by cameras stopped them from being themselves?

Erik: We're performers so if there are cameras around we're gonna tell jokes and do funny skits in front of it, because, you know what I mean.

Jacob: We're real people too. Like when I was back home hanging out with friends back home we'd do stupid stuff sometimes. Just because we're on camera doesn't mean we're not going to be stupid. Like I said, we're real people, we're just like guys in college that do stupid things just to make each other laugh. We do that too and just cross our fingers that it won't be shown to the world.

But being popstars you must get to meet a lot of girls.

Ashley: We meet a lot of people but we're in and out of a city within a day, so it's like we leave a lot of people behind. We've met a lot of beautiful woman and seen a lot of beautiful, you know...

Trevor: Yes we have.

Ashley: And we've had to be in a different city each day so...

Trevor: We've had to leave them behind. Oh Lord, Lord. We've had to leave them behind.

But you've always got those Liquid Dreams to hold onto.

Ashley: The great thing about Liquid Dreams is that it brings a whole group of different women to the table so you have like a whole bunch of personalities so she's a bit of everything.

So the song's about making the perfect girlfriend out of loads of different popstars but which British stars would you choose?

Erik: I'd think it has to be a little bit of Rachel from S Club 7, a little bit of Rachel from S Club 7 and a little bit of Rachel from S Club 7.

How do you feel about Hearsay's success?

Jacob: We were the first people that  we knew of that did anything like this so now that there's Popstars in Canada, the US, London and Australia and all these other places we feel that there are certain people out there we can connect with or have a similar story and can relate to hat we've been through.

How are you coping with your new found fame?

Erik: For us, under certain circumstances, we're the guests of honour and that's like for me, great because I've been to parties where other people are the guests of honour and I never thought it'd be me and now I walk in with five guys and it's like we're the guests of honour.
