I think the most important thing I've learned is how to communicate with different
types of people. When you're put in a situation where you have to live with 4 different
types of people, you have to get along with everyone or else you'll kill yourself, or the
other way around. (laughs)

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
My family loves it actually! They got to come to the show in NY this weekend and
experience it.

Dish Diva :
ashley823 Asks: Dan, what was the first thing that ran through your head when you
found out you were gonna be in O-Town?

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
Wow! I don't know. I was just really focused on getting to work, learning the songs
and dances and fitting in. I think that was the only thing going through my mind at
the time.

Dish Diva :
buttercup273 Asks: What did you want to be when you grew up?

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
I always wanted to be an architect. I always thought I could be an Olympic diver. It
sounds kind of dumb, and I would never wear a speedo in public either. (laughs)

Dish Diva :

O- Town and having people watch you every Friday?

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
A lot! I never get to see my family or friends. I had to put school on hold for the
moment and I get to do what I love every day now. Which is a lot better than what
most people get to do, ya know.

done?

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
I love you back!! The bravest thing I've ever did... hmm, I'm not sure. I'm not really a
brave person, I don't like taking risks. I'm pretty much a wuss at most times. I think
everything through before I do them and sometimes I over think things.

Dish Diva :
2cute20 Asks: What's one thing you had to get used to when you entered the band?

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
I had to get used to be working hard every day and not procrastinate. That was the
hardest for me.

Dish Diva :
O_Town_fanatic Asks: Describe your personality in three words.

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
Humble, quiet, and outgoing.

OtownzGurl Asks: Who's the most important person in your life right now?

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
I probably have to round that to my parents right now. They're not one person, but I
couldn't leave one of them out, ya know. So I would say them.

Dish Diva :
What a great answer, Dan. That's cool.

Dish Diva :
_lttlerichgirl Asks: I love you guys so much. When is your CD coming out cause so far
the songs are great.

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
The single should come out October or late September and the album should come out
around Christmas. December, January area.

Dish Diva :
kahri1 Asks: What do you do in your down time? Do you get much of it?

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
We don't get much of it, but when I do, it's usually sitting around watching TV in my
underwear. Basically just chill out. I'll go catch a movie and go to sleep early. That's
what I do on a day off.

Dish Diva :
ValerieD00 Asks: I just want to say that I love you and O-Town. It was so incredible
how you learned all the dance steps so fast in "All 4 Love." If you could change one
thing about your new life , what would it be?

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
I don't know if I would change anything. If anything, it would be how much I could
see my family and friends back home. On the other hand, if I saw my family and
friends more, I wouldn't see these guys as much as I do.

Dish Diva :
Dans_Angel says: Dan, is your favorite fast food really Chicken McNuggets? if so,
how often do you get to go to McDonalds?

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
I would say Chicken McNuggets is my favorite fast food, but it's kind of a guilty
pleasure because I try and eat healthy. I actually haven't been to McDonald's in a long
while. I've been trying to eat healthy and get all my vitamins and nutrients. It's hard to
eat healthy on the road, so you gotta do what you can.

luv4spankie says: Was it weird when you first moved into the house? Did you feel out
of place at all, because the other 4 guys already had that time to bond?

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
For the first couple of weeks I was there, I didn't feel completely part yet cuz, they
would give me some crap and I had problems getting to fit in right away. And it was
hard for a while.

I love you back! Thanks for the support! I would say Ashley spends the most time
primping. I don't think that's a surprise to anybody. (laughs)

lifelessflower Asks: When you were young, who inspired you the most musically?

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
Michael Jackson. My parents have footage of me copying Michael Jackson moves and
listening to the "Thriller" record over and over.

Dish Diva :
Have you met Michael Jackson yet?

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
Don't I wish! We have met Tito, Germaine and Jackie though.

As soon as possible actually! We're going to do our best to get one out very soon.

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
I don't know if I consider best friend, because we're like best friends together. All five
of us are best friends. I spend a lot of time with Trevor and Jacob.

OtownzGurl Asks: I'm watching MTB right now, cuz I have it taped! You guys are an
amazing group! You guys have such potential! I wish ya all the luck! I was wondering
what's the craziest thing a fan has done for you so far?

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
A fan in Toronto gave us a hamster in a cage and she just ran up out of the blue and
handed us this hamster. We were like "Woah!" we were pretty shocked by this
hamster!

Dish Diva :
bait says: How long will the show be on?

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
The last show airs on September 8th. But beyond that, we just found out today that
there will be a second season of "Making The Band."

Dish Diva :
Congratulations, Dan! That is great news!

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
Yes. We usually don't watch it Friday night, but we get an advanced copy and all sit
down and watch it. We watched this Friday's show today. We all sit down together
and watch, just not on Friday.

Pacey says: Do you get recognized a lot?

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
I don't get recognized by myself yet, only because I've been on the show for a couple
of weeks now. But when I'm with all of the guys, we get recognized quite a bit.

Dish Diva :
DIVA1385 Asks: What advice would you give to an aspiring pop diva like myself,
and you guys are great performers!

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
Well, keep following your dreams. But on the other hand, have a backup plan. I didn't
think this would happen in my wildest dreams, and I had a backup plan. To become a
recording artist, it only happens to a few people. So you have to have a backup plan
because you can't put your whole live on it.

Dish Diva :
falke says: If we saw you on the street today, what would you be wearing? Are you a
Gap or grunge guy?

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
I think I'm neither. I'm normally a very urban kind of wearer. My clothes are usually
baggy, unless I'm dressing up. My normal clothes are T-Shirt, jeans, and hat or
bandana.

brown_suga15 Asks: People say you are the best dancer from the group is that true?
I love you!

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
Oh wow! Thank you!! I hate to slight Trevor or Jacob also. I like to think of myself as
a good dancer but Jacob and Trevor have good skills too. There doesn't have to be a
best as long as we bring it all together on stage.

? where in the US are you from?

Guest_O-Town-Dan :
I am from Twinsburg,Ohio which is by Cleveland.

Probably my CD player and CDs. I probably couldn't make it through all the planes we go on without that. It helps me go to sleep.

Turn off the TV.

To me, any gift that I get from a fan is pretty darn impressive. Just because I never
expected to be getting gifts from anyone but my family and friends. And for someone
else to thing so highly of what I do to actually give me a gift, I really appreciate it.

It's something R&B, probably Brian McKnight or Eric Benet or D'Angelo. People like
that. I'm more of an R&B guy.

We are definitely into cereal! Rice Crispy Treats cereal.
