Host: With me, I’ve got the lovely Ashley. What’s goin’ on man, where you calling in from tonight?

Ashley: Hey, don’t embarrass me. Haha. How you?

Host: Not too much. Good.

Ashley: We are tonight down in St. Petersburg, FL, so Happy Valentines Day to everybody.

Host: Nice, what are you guys doing tonight, you got a gig?

Ashley: Yes, we goy our show. It’s our 3rd show tonight for our concert. And …Do I need to talk more slowly?

Host: Naw man, just talk as if you were talking.

Ashley: Oh. Ok, Ok, Ok.

Host: So it’s your 3rd show today?

Ashley: Yes

Host: Wow they got you guys on quite a schedule.

Ashley: It’s been crazy, but it’s a lot of fun and were getting out there and playing to all our fans it’s been a blast.

Host: Well, we gotta jump into our questions because we’ve already had over 2,000 questions waiting even before you got on the phone.

Ashley: I’ll do my best to answer them. Haha.

Host: Excellent. The first one comes from WhoaAshley’sHot and he/she wants to know how did you guys feel that you had gone platinum.

Ashley: How does she know that we’re platinum already? She must be reading the web page, huh?

Host: Probably.

Ashley: Tell you the truth, we were in Washington DC, I dunno if any of the fans, I’m sure everyone was, we did the NBA Team-Up on Saturday and we got word on Friday night, the guy that works at our record label, Andrew, sent us all a 2-way page and we were all just freaking out.

Host: Nice. So congratulations, that’s obviously a great feeling you guys debuted at # 5

Ashley: Thank you. We can’t believe it really. We’re so excited.

Host: Cool, so we’re gonna take our next question from AddictedtoMTV and Sheila from TX writes in and wants to know what do you guys want to be your next single?

Ashley: You know that’s tough because … it’s probably between love should be a crime on Gril

Host: Oh. Nice, Nice.

Ashley:But you know, that’s just our personal choice we don’t know what the label’s gonna decide so hopefully they’re gonna pick one of those

Ashley: Ahahaha yeah please vote! We wanna know! We really wanna know!

Host: Cool. We got our next question from BSB_confession

Ashley: What is that? What is the name?

Host: BSB_confession.

Ashley: OK

Host: And he/she wants to know, just a curious question who do you look up to more as a pop group, BSB or *NSYNC?

Ashley: hmmm. I’m gonna get into trouble if I say either one. It’s safe to say that they’re both cool and uh they’re both great so we look up to both of em.

Host: Excellent, excellent. So you guys have been doing the TV show for a full season, you guys just renewed for a second season, how does it feel to have so much success over the course of just a year?

Ashley: We consider ourselves truly blessed first of all. It’s only been a year really since the 5 of us got picked so we just think we’re really lucky and we’re happy to be able to to what we love to do and we’re really excited that we’re out on tour now so we can meet all of our fans that have been so supportive of us over the past year.

Host: That’s awesome. We’ve got a question from Allen G Camelli, and he writes in and says hey guys, I know you like questions about your music, so here’s one. What was it like working with Toni Harrison over in Germany?

Ashley: It was really cool, mostly for Jacob to write with them. Take Me Under came outta that so that was really cool and it was the first time we were in Germany so it was a great experience and uh it was terrific. It was great.

Host: We’ve got one now from shortcake429 and she wants to know on the record, who sings Ikiaka’s part in "Baby I Would"? Did Dan fill in for that or did someone else?

Ashley: Well we kinda changed the record around as far as who was doing what part, but yes Dan did fill in.

Host: Excellent.

Ashley: And I hope they like it with Dan.

Host: I’m sure they love it with Dan. (Ashley laughs) erikwantsme wrote in this is Amber from southern Cali and she says what is the most interesting thing has done to meet you all?

Ashley: Fans are pretty creative, you know. Hahaha uhhhwell, let’s see It’s just a lot of the typical, they come to the hotel, and somehow they get up to our rooms, we’re not quite sure how, they must bribe the front desk because they show up knocking on our doors. It’s not really that creative, but it seems to work. So all you fans out there, if you bribe the front desk, it’ll be a sure bet they’ll let you up. Don’t say you heard it from me.

Host: Bringmeunderotown wants to know you’re all 5 guys with different backgrounds and styles do you think your diversity has helped you gain success? By the way, I love you Trev.

Ashley: hahaha uhh, definitely I think it adds a lot to the band, I think we’re all coming from different backgrounds, we all have different musical tastes and it really helps…yes. My answer is yes. It’s hard to put into words but my answer is yes.

Host: Alright the next question comes from krikeymikey17 and he/she wants to know do you have e-mails that you can e-mail you all at.

Ashley: All our e-mail goes through our website www.o-town.com and we check that so if you send us a message we do check it we don’t have our own e-mails because traveling on the road, it’s too difficult to run around with a computer, so we go online wherever we can and we check our own web page and we uh try and respond when we can.

Host: (Talking about going to get valentines greetings from each member and saying if you don’t have a valentine…)

Ashley: I’ll be your valentine!

Host: Rockysoneandonly wants to know what’s the wackiest rumor you’ve heard about yourselves thus far?

Ashley: People don’t really write about us, we’re pretty boring. I hear rumors all the time it’s always about my ex-girlfriend Shelli, rumors that we’re together again or that we’re broken up, but that’s it. I’m pretty boring no one has that much to say about me, it’s always about Shelli, which, we’re not together, by the way, just to clarify.

Host: It’s kinda hard to have rumors when everything’s right there in the open on the TV show. #1otownluver wrote in to ask when will Liquid Dreams be released in the UK?

Ashley: I think we just did a whole bunch of press this last week for the UK. T4, which is the network that is broadcasting the show, came over and we did a whole bunch of interviews for them. The TV show is on and I think we’ll be going over in the end of March to promote the release of the single. So just sit tight in the UK, we’re coming. I think the beginning of April or the end of March, but I’m not sure.

Host: IloveNoahB2001 needs to know, what’s Ashley’s favorite song from your album?

Ashley: I like them all….I really like All or Nothing.

Host: Done and Done

Ashley: All or Nothing, let’s just say that

Host: Dahottestmama just needs to know would you guys ever date a fan and have you guys ever dated fans?

Ashley: Sure we would date a fan, I mean fans are people too I mean of course we would! Aaah, has any of us? I’ll say yes, but I won’t give specifics.

Host: Otownforever214 just wants to know do you know where Jacob gets the inspiration for his songs?

Ashley: uhhh, Jacob is very spiritual and…. They come from…they are divine. He has a personal dialogue with God. He’s very spiritual so that’s where they come from not to mention, he’s such a great musician, so, uuh, also his family and his girlfriend. I think that’s where it comes from.

Host: Ok. He’s just a vessel. You know I seem to remember on the show there’s a lot of close up shots of you on the guitar just sitting off to the side. When are we gonna hear an Ashley composition?

Ashley: If you come out to the concert, Jacob and I both play guitar during, uhhh…..during one of the tracks. So for right now, Love Should Be Crime is the only place, live where you’re gonna hear it, but uh, maybe in the next album, I’ll actually get to play which would be really cool. You know I also play the piano so we’re looking to get that into the show also. So, but for right now, you’re gonna have to see us play Love Should Be A Crime.

Host: You keep on talking about the tour, what’s the tour dates?

Ashley: Uhh, well the tour dates are on our website, they are running now until the 23rd of March. It’s a long tour. Every night practically, we’re gonna be out in LA on the 23rd and 24th I think and honestly it’s all over the place. I don’t even know where it is, I just know when it ends!

Host: Who’s opening the shows

Ashley: This really cool guys named Lugo. And this really pretty girl named Mariama, she used to be in a group called the Honeys overseas, but now she’s solo and we have the same manager, so she’s out opening for us and she’s beautiful and it’ll give something for the guys who come out and see the show cause we encourage the guys just as much as the girls.

Host: Yummycookie4u just wants to know, do you like tattoos or piercings on girls? If so what and where?

Ashley: We as a band don’t wanna encourage anyone to go out and get tattooed or pierced on our account, but that’s a personal choice so whatever a person is comfortable doing, we’re cool with that. It’s safe to say. Well our biggest fan had a tattoo, so obviously we liked that, but it was her choice.

Host: Gemini00799 needs to know, I think you music is hot, but what kind of music do you like to listen to in your spare time? Happy Valentines Day I love you all!

Ashley: Oh, Happy Valentines Day to you! Thank you so much! Uh, we listen to everything from Creed to Eminem to the Backstreet Boys and everything in between…Stevie Wonder. Everything.

Host: Meggiepool2 wants to know what’s you favorite thing to do to keep your mind from being on the road.

Ashley: We play video games, well Jacob lies music, first and foremost (phone breaks) PlayStation 2 is pretty cool, we got one on the bus. We sleep a lot in our spare time.

Host: How much spare time do you get?

Ashley: None. Just when we’re sleeping! Not much really we go from show to show now so just from after the show until we have sound check the next day. It’s really been crazy.

Host: webmaster455 wants to know Name one person who you’d like to record a song with.

Ashley: Michael Jackson. I don’t know if he’s available, but we’d love to work with him.

Host: Rockies#1andonly wants to know looking back on the past year, what the best memory you guys have, love Angel

Ashley: uhh, probably, hmm, recording in the studio. That’s not one memory but that whole experience of recording in the studio is probably the best because that was all of our dreams and to have it come true, that was really the highlight of the year. Getting into the final 5 and getting the record deal, but actually getting into the studio made it real for us and that was really incredible.

Host: And that was the first time any one of you had been in the studio before, right?

Ashley: In a real studio, yeah. Jacob kinda fooled around in San Diego, but yeah. First time with engineers and everything.

Host: BSB_confession needs to know, are you guys gonna be attending the Grammy’s next week?

Ashley: We’re gonna be in LA, but no we’re not going to the Grammy’s because we’re going to be filming to opening segment, the opening credits for Making the Band that day.

Host: What’s the concept?

Ashley: We don’t know, we know we have to show up, they’re gonna give us our clothes and probably cut our hair and send us out on whatever, the soundstage.

Host: We’ve been getting a lot of e-mails wondering who does the band’s styling.

Ashley: For the most part, the record label tries to give us clothes, but we wind up wearing what we want. I mean Jacob never wears anything that they give him, for the most part, it’s a little of what they give and our own style.

Host: were the dreadlocks Jacob or the record label’s idea?

Ashley: No no no. The dreadlocks are 100% Jacob. Believe me it takes a lot of work.

Host: Illhaveavodka want to know do you feel intimidated by all the other boy bands that you are competing against.

Ashley: Not at all, we’re fans, so to be put in the same category is great. (cut off)

Ashley: Hey what happened, did you cut me off?

Host: No suddenly there was just beeping and you disappeared.

Ashley: did I say something you didn’t like?

Host: yeah man, we just hit the cutoff button in the control room

Ashley: oooh, I’m sorry!

Host: No I’m just kidding. I think the cell phone just faded for a second

Ashley: Oh alright.

Host: Sarah from Ohio wants to know out of all the celebrities you got to meet who was your favorite and the nicest one?

Ashley: Again, these fans! They want me to get myself in trouble! Everyone we’ve met has been very friendly. We’re always surprised when celebrities come up to us, because as far as we’re concerned, we’re just like anyone else. It’s kinda weird for us still that anyone recognizes us. Let’s see. We were at the American Music Awards and I dunno, we meet so many people so it’s hard to say. We just met Malcolm from Malcolm in the Middle on Saturday, he’s a fan of ours.

Host: Now have you gotten a chance to meet any of the women that you reference in Liquid Dreams?

Ashley: It’s so funny when we were at the AMA, we bumped into Destiny’s Child and we didn’t know if they would know who we were, but Beyonce started singing the chorus of the song to us and we couldn’t believe it! So she knew it and we though it was really cool, and we met her and she’s the only one we met

Host: Still working on the Madonna connection, maybe a little JLo…

Ashley: Yeah. That would be cool, wouldn’t it?

Host: Cnote4me wants to know what can we expect from this new tour love erin & brie, CT

Ashley: uhh, we’re out performing with a live band, which is exciting for us and we’re singing 10 songs from the album. I think you’ll all be happy with the show, we’re having a lot of fun so I hope you enjoy it also.

Host: Alright a Valentines day themed question from Ash’sAngel26otownhotties. Who is the most romantic and least romantic of the group? I love you guys.

Ashley: I’d like to say I’m the most romantic and as far as least romantic, uhh, I dunno, maybe Trevor. I dunno if he’s not romantic, but the ladies seem to love him!

Host: I think the ladies have love for all 5 of you guys.

Ashley: haha thank you. And we have love for all of them. And they’re telling me that I have to go and I wanna thank everyone for chatting with us, me tonight and please come out and come to the tour and request our video on TRL, I know I always have to day that
