May I take your order?” a waitress asked as she looked up to realize it was
NSYNC. “My god, it’s NSYNC” she said under her breath.
I’ll have the pig sandwich with a sprite.” Joey said as the waitress almost
fainted.
“Uh, are you ok?” JC asked as he fanned a menu over her.
“Yea, just give me a minute ok?” she replied as she walked over to another
table.
“Sweetie, I may get fired for this but I have to tell you.” Heather’s mother
the “waitress” said.
“What Mom?” Heather asked as Kim sipped her sprite.
“NSYNC is here.” she smiled as she continued, I almost fainted. I know, I
know, you guys are supposed to be the ones to faint. But I am just so happy
for you guys, you have a chance to finally meet them. I suggest you wait
five minutes while I get them their drinks, then do your magic on stage.”
she said pointing to the stage that the Hard Rock had for karoke nights and
for Hard Rock Live.
Heather’s eyes widened. Mom, you mean to tell me that NSYNC is here and you
want your two daughters and their friends to get on that there stage and act
like fools in front if them?!?!” Heather asked. She nodded her head ‘yes’ in
response.
“oh, ok. Only if the rest of sweet harmony is up to it.” Heather said as
they all nodded their heads in agreement. The four got up and went to the
stage, which was right in front of NSYNC’s table.
“Who is that?” Justin asked as JC looked up. Heather was the first to speak.
You could tell she was nervous.
“Uh, we’re Sweet Harmony, and we are going to be your listening and viewing
pleasure for a few minutes...” Heather looked back at Dana who was smiling
about ready to burst out laughing.
“We want to dedicate this performance to our role models, NSYNC. Because
their music has always helped us out whenever we were in a jam.” Dana added.
“Ok, ok , enough with the mushiness, I wanna dance!!” Kim said smiling. The
four started to sing an acapella version of Britney Spears ‘Born to make you
happy” They sat on stools for that song, but immediately shifted to an
upbeat tempo as Kim took the keyboard and Dana took the drums. Lee and
Heather sang their version of NSYNC”s bye bye bye.
