“What?” Heather asked.
“Well...” David began to whisper.............
Later that night.....
Heather, Kim, Dana, Amanda, Lee, Nsync and David had all shown up at the beach. Syd wasn’t there yet. But she wasn’t always the punctual one. The beach was empty except for them. The sun was setting and Justin and Lance began to build a fire.
“Heather, can I talk to you for a minute?” David asked.
“Yeah?” Heather asked.
“Well, I just wanted to know one thing, do you like to play truth or dare?”
“Yea, I guess so why?”
“Well, everyone has decided that that’s what we’re gonna play once Syd shows up.”
“I’m here!! The party may now begin.” Syd said laughing. Justin left the fire and went up to Syd.
“Hey.” Justin said quietly.
“Hi, what’s wrong with you?” Syd asked.
“Nothing.” Justin said lying through his teeth.
“Ok, well when you’re ready to talk, I’ll be here.” Syd said, “But until then, let’s have some fun!” Everyone began to form a circl aroung the fire.
“OK, who should go first?” Kim asked.
“I think David should go first. Since this whole thing was his idea.” Lance said as he held Amanda’s hand.
“Ok, cool beans. Um..” David said as he scanned the circle of people.
