"We're back!" McKenna shrieked as they approached Devin and the guys.
Savannah went to go look for Justin, whom she hadn't really seen all night, but was hoping to get to know better. "There you are." She said as she approached Justin, who was sitting at a nearby table.
"McKenna?" Joey said.
A few hours later Savannah walked up to Lance. "Hey Lance!" She yelled walking up to him. "Will you do me the honor?"
"Hey, I want y'all to meet someone." Justin said. "Hey, Craig, come here! I want you to meet a few of my friends." Justin said as he motioned for Craig to come over to him.
"I'll be right back, I'm going to get something to drink." Savannah said.
"Hurry back!" Joey said.
"Craig this is McKenna and Devin. Savannah will be right back, she went to get somethin' to drink." Justin explained. "Oh, good you're back. Craig this is-" He began to say.
"Craig?" Savannah said in shock.
"Hollywood? What are you doing here?" Craig asked.
"You two know each other?" JC asked.
"Please tell me my brother isn't here!" Savannah asked looking around.
"No, he's not-" Craig started to say.
"Good, do me a favor-"
"But, he will be. He just had to pick up Kevin."
"Great! Just great!" She murmured.
"Is there a problem?" Chris asked.
"The only problem is that Damien is way too protective. He's like the father I never had. He chases guys down the street, like a dog chasing the mailman." Savannah told them. McKenna nodded her head, agreeing with her friend. "He's gonna kill me."
"Oh." Chris said. "So, how long have you two known each other?" He asked changing the subject.
"About three or four years." Savannaah answered. "Can I talk to you for a moment Craig?"
"Sure, talk."
"In private." She said looking behind her. She began to pull on Craig's arm. "We'll be right back."
"What are you doing-"
"Please don't tell my brother I'm here." Savannah pleaded.
"What are you doing here with them? They are way too old for you!"
"Let me worry about that. Just don't tell him."
"I can't promise that."
"Why? I thought that you cared about me and that I could count on you. Didn't you say that? Or was you saying that just a fragment of my imagination?" Savannah asked standing with one hand on her hip.
"No, I said it, but-"
"But what Craig?"
"I just…Okay." He said with a heavy sigh. "But you owe me."
"I know. Thanks." She said and gave Craig a small peck on the cheek and then went back to join her party.
"You were looking for me?" Justin asked with a small smile.
"Yeah, I was wondering if you would like to maybe-" Savannah hesitated.
"Dance?" He said finishing her sentence.
"Yeah... Dance." She replied shyly.
"I'd love to. Let's show 'em how it's done." Justin said with a twinkle in his eye. Just then He Loves Me began to play. "Shall we?" Justin asked Savannah as he held out his right hand.
"We shall." She replied taking his hand and then stepping out onto the dance floor. He then wrapped his arms around her waist and she looked up into his clear blue eyes. Savannah looked to her left and saw McKenna dancing with Joey. She glanced to her right and saw Devin sitting at a table talking to JC. Justin looked down at Savannah who was smiling.
"You have got the most amazing smile...And amazingly white teeth." He said laughing as he said the last part.
"Thanks." Her smile grew wider as she laughed.
A few minutes later the song ended. It seemed to Savannah that the song had only been playing a few moments. She wanted to stay in Justin's arms all night long.
"So, why does everyone call you Hollywood? I've been wondering that all night." Just questioned as a new song came on.
Savannah laughed. "Ever since I was a little girl I've had my head in the clouds and stars in my eyes."
"I'm not following."
"My mom gave me that name when I was about two and a half. I used to dance all the time and sing and cheese it up for photos and all. The name just sorta stuck with me." She explained.
"Oh. I see."
"We should probably go find the rest of the guys." Savannah mentioned softly a few minutes later.
"Let them find themselves." Justin said as he looked down and into Savannah's deep green eyes.
"I was hoping you would say that." She said to him as she leaned her head against his chest. I wish I could stay in his arms forever.
"Yeah?"
"Does um…Savannah have a boyfriend?" Joey asked.
"Why?" McKenna asked as she looked up at Joey.
"No reason." He said innocently. McKenna looked up at him wonderingly. "Am I to take that as a yes?"
"His name is Adam."
"Oh." Joey said trying not to act disappointed.
"I wouldn't worry too much about it. Guys are always mobbing her. Out of the three of us, Devin, me, and her…She gets the most guys. Devin and I do okay, but…Never mind." McKenna stopped herself. I wish Lance's arms were around me instead of Joey's. He's not my type. Oh well, Lance probably isn't interested in me anyway, no one ever is. Why should a famous guy who can have anyone he wants, want me? He wouldn't. McKenna thought as she continued to dance with Joey.
"Sure, I guess." Savannah led him onto the dance floor.
"Look, don't take this the wrong way or anything, me asking you to dance and all." She began. "I just had to tell you something."
"What's that?"
"I'm not really supposed to say. But, I'll tell you this much, a certain strawberry blond girl at this party, who just happened to come with us, likes you. Or what she knows about you, anyway." Savannah said hinting to McKenna. "She might just have wavy hair and her name might just be McKenna."
"May I cut in?" A familiar voice said.
"Sure Justin." Lance said before he gave Savnannah a quick kiss on the forehead. "Thanks."
"I didn't say a single word." She said slyly.
Lance then went off to go find McKenna.
"What was that all about?" Justin asked referring to the kiss.
"Nothing, nothing at all." Savannah replied sweetly as she looked at Justin's eyes for the millionth time that night. "Nothing at all." She mouthed.
