Chapter Four
“So did you work things out?"
“I think so Brian, she still seems a little shaken up, but I’ve gotten her to hug me, so maybe it’s a start.”
“Well, that’s good. She should be here soon. We’ll make sure we don’t choose her as our dance partner when that time comes *wink*”
“Very funny, Rok, I have a feeling that I’ll be able to talk to her today. I need to get her comfortable around me again.”
“Well Frack ya did screw it all up, but I think you might just have a chance. Just maybe. She’s a forgiving person, if you prove everything’s okay.”
“I need to, because I know deep inside that everything is okay, and it’s gonna stay that way. I want it to be that way. And I want her to want that too.”
“We know you do, just give it a little time.”
“I will.”
Just then, the other three guys walked in, followed by Becca, 4 other female dancers, a few male dancers, and Fatima, their choreographer.
“Alright, everyone, gather around, we need to discuss dance partners, and also which songs we need to choreograph. I have a few already choreographed, however. So, guys, your choices are Becca, Amanda, Rachel, Riley, and Chloe. Brian, who do you choose?”
“Um, I’ll take Riley.”
“Kev?”
“Amanda.”
“And you, AJ?”
“Chloe.”
“Howie?”
“I’ll take Rachel.”
“So Nick, that leaves you with Becca, if that’s alright with you.”
“Yeah, that’s fine.”
Nick said that, but he seemed to be in another world, and everyone noticed it.
“Okay, guys, get with your partner, and we’ll start the choreography for ‘Yes I Will’. Alright, we need voluneteers to help me right now.”
“We’ll help!”
“Okay, Brian and Riley, come here and I’ll show you what I’m going to need to do”
While Fatima was talking to Brian and Riley, Becca and Nick were talking.”
“Well, I guess we’re gonna have to get used to each other, huh?” Becca said.
“It looks that way.”
“Nick I just wanted to say that...”
“Becca i’m so sorry. I was thinking last night, because I couldn’t get to sleep. Why in the world would I want to hurt you? And there’s something I haven’t told you.”
“Okay...what is it?”
“You know Riley, the girl Brian is dancing with?”
“Yeah, what about her?”
“Well, that was the girl I was cheating on you with.”
Becca just sat there speechless. She didn’t know what she was supposed to say.
“Does she know about me? Did she know?”
“Yeah. And guess what the even better part is”
(Author’s note: There’s a bit of sarcasm there)
“What?”
“She’s trying to get me back because she knows that I am trying to get you back. Becca, please, I love you. I want you in my life so bad.”
And it happened. Becca realized that she needed to let go of the past and focus on the future. All hate she had built up for him was gone, and she felt the love for him come back to her.
