Chapter Five
~*~1 Month Later~*~
“Hey Nick! Focus! We need to get this dancing down! The tour starts in one week! You are in outer space!”
“Sorry Bec, I’m just thinking.”
“About...”
“Stuff, we’ll talk later, we need to get this dancing down! The tour starts in one week!”
Nick was trying to imitate Becca.
“Funny one, I almost laughed!!!”
“Yeah, okay”
It was one of the most important practices of the entire time. They were going over every dance they had learned for the tour. All the pairs were perfecting their parts. Nick and Becca had their’s down pretty good, so they took a break. So did Brian and Riley. Nick had told Brian about Riley being “the girl”. So when it was the four of them, Brian made sure Riley wasn’t all over Nick.
“Brian and Riley, come up and show everyone your part.”
“Alright.”
They started dancing to “I Promise You (With Everything I Am)”, but Riley seemed to be trying to stay off her left leg, which was messing the dance up. The next thing she knew she was on the ground.
“Riley!”
“I’m okay...it’s just...”
“What?”
“My knee. It’s in bad shape. But I’m so stubborn that I don’t want it to mess me up.”
“Honey, I don’t think we’re gonna be able to risk putting you back in,” Fatima said.
“But...who’s gonna do my part?”
“We have a few backup dancers that know it. We have to try it.”
“Okay...”
“Sorry, Riley, we had fun with you.”
“Bye Fatima. Bye guys. Sorry for the trouble!”
“Bye Riley.”
As Riley left, she turned and gave Becca an evil look.
"Uh oh," Becca thought. "I know what that means..."
