The Call******Chapter 2------The Next Day
"Hey Leigh, whatcha doing tonight?
"I dunno, Autumn and Summer said they have a surprise for me."
"Oh yeah, I know about that."
"Hey Brian, do you think you can come? Autumn wants to see you before she leaves tomorrow."
"Yeah, I guess."
"Brian, what's wrong, you seem hurt or disappointed. What sorta trials and tribulations have you been through to get ya down?"
"Well, earlier in History, ya know when I was called out? Kev called. He couldn't wait to tell me about how he met these three other guys and joined this music group. They're looking for a fifth member and he thought about me. I'm leaving in the morning."
"That's great! Why are you so upset?"
"There's this girl I've liked forever and I haven't told her yet. I was hoping to tell her yesterday but I wasn't confident enough. Now I'm going to Florida. I won't get to see her much if any."
"That's terrible. Now I see why you're upset. Who's the girl?"
"You mean it's not obvious?
"No, I've tried to figure out if there was a girl you liked, but I couldn't."
"Come on then. I'll show you."
Brian drug Leigh to her locker.
"Open it up."
"Why? I don't have my yearbook in there."
"Just open it up!"
Leigh reluctantly opened her locker thinking the answer wasn't being held inside.
"Look in the mirrow. You see that girl? That's the one I like."
"Me? Oh my gosh!!!"
"I"m so sorry, it's just that..."
"Brian there's nothing to be sorry for. I've been hoping and wishing and dreaming for you to say you like me. I feel the same about you."
"Too bad I never told you sooner."
