The Call *~* Chapter 1---The Beginning

"I think they'll end up getting married or something."

"Oh Harold, don't be ridiculous. They may be close, but I think they're just friends."

"I'm not Jackie. Look at how close they are. The already look like they're together and they would make such a cute couple."

Brian and Leigh were playfully wrestling and chasing each other in Brian's backyard. The love hanging around each other and they are so much like brother and sister.

"Gotcha now Littrell!"

Leigh tackled Brian and took the note out of his hand.

"Come on Leigh, please don't read it!"

"My gosh! How can I read it? It's so sloppy!"

"I didn't write it! Krystal did!"

"Oh my gosh! Does she have a crush on you or something like that?"

"No, she just wants me to get her hooked up with Andrew."

"OK, cool."

"Leigh, you're mom just called and said you need to come home. Autumn and Summer just got home!"

"OK Mrs. Littrell! Hey Brian, wanna come and say 'Hi' to my sisters with me?"

"Nah, I'll see them tomorrow. I gotta take me a shower and I'm starving!"

"OK, C-ya later dude!"

"Bye!"

Leigh was a little hurt that she had to leave Brian. After all, she had had a crush on him for forever. She walked on anyway.

Brian was disappointed with himself because he couldn't tell Leigh how he felt about her. He had planned to tell her for as long as he could remember, but he never had the courage.

"Hey Summer, you've had lots of experience with guys. Maybe you could help me."

"Sure sis, whatcha need help with?"

"I've liked Brian forever, but he doesn't show any sign of liking me back. Should I tell him? Maybe he's hiding how he feels. If I told him, I would risk losing our friendship. Or should I get over him?

"That's a tough one. I think you should tell him how you feel. Explain to him that you don't wanna hurt your friendship. Maybe he'll come out and admit how he feels."
