"Hey, how's the living arrangement?" Lydia asked.
Hannah groaned, "Horrible. We fight over every little thing."
"Do you think you could ever be friends?" she asked.
Hannah doodled on a piece of paper while she thought about the question.
"Truthfully, I don't think so." Hannah said with a touch of sadness in her voice.
"Maybe you should think about moving out then. Listen, my boss is coming, I gotta go. Call me later." Lydia said quickly.
"Alright, bye."
Hannah leaned back in her chair and rubbed her eyes tiredly.
Four hours later, she headed home and took a 50 minute shower. She felt like she never wanted to get out, but when her skin started to wrinkle, she pulled herself out. She dried off and changed into pajamas, considering she wanted to just relax.
Fifteen minutes later, Nick came home, mumbled hello, then headed to the bathroom. The shower turned on and minutes later, she heard her name get screamed from the bathroom.
Nick flung the door open, and ran out to the living room. He stood in front of Hannah, soaking wet, with a towel wrapped around his waist.
"There's no hot water." Nick said loudly.
"Nick, I'm really sorry. I was wicked tired after work and I took a really long shower. I must have used up all the hot water." she said truly feeling bad.
"God, you've been nothing but a pain in the ass since the first day you moved in." Nick said roughly.
Hannah usually wasn't one to let people walk all over her, but with Nick it was different. Once the words escaped his lips he knew he shouldn't have said them. She got up, went to her room and slammed the door shut.
Nick dried off and changed into sweatpants and a t-shirt. He went to Hannah's door and knocked on it lightly. She didn't answer so he opened the door a crack to see her sleeping.
Nick closed the door and walked to his room.
"So much for apologizing..." he mumbled.
