"Hannah Livingston." she said properly.
It was lunch time and they had been moving in and arguing most of the day so far.
Nick nodded and took another bite of his sandwich. Hannah groaned and put hers down.
"Can you not chew like that?" she asked irritably.
"Like what?" he said chomping loudly.
Hannah sighed and got up.
Nick's cell phone rang so he put his lunch down and took a bite.
"Hey how's the place coming?" AJ asked.
"Interesting." he said watching Hannah open a box and look through it.
"What do ya mean?" AJ asked.
"You'll have to see for yourself."
"Okay, well I am coming over with Howie in a few minutes."
"Bye J." Nick said hanging up.
"Lydia, he's so stuck up!" Hannah complained over her phone.
Her best friend, Lydia, lived in Rhode Island since they were both 17 years old. Hannah and Lydia were now turning 20.
"Well, Hannah, sometimes you are um, moody, is the term I am looking for. Maybe you didn't even give him a chance?" Lydia asked as kindly as possible.
"He chews loudly." Hannah said pouting.
Lydia laughed lightly over the phone.
"Give him a chance. Look, my boss is coming, I have to go." she said quickly hanging up.
Hannah walked back into the living room where Nick was. She gave him a fake smile, then rolled her eyes at him as she turned her back.
About 10 minutes later, AJ and Howie showed up at the door. Nick opened it and brought them in.
"Okay, there's a girl who rented this apartment too. Neither of us will move out so we are, uh, kinda living together." he explained quietly.
Hannah walked in and smiled warmly.
"Hey, I'm Hannah." she said extending a hand.
AJ shook it lightly, "AJ."
Howie shook her hand also.
"My name's Howie, it's nice to meet you."
"Same here." she smiled.
"Want anything to drink?" she offered.
Nick's mouth gaped open.
"Why are you so nice to them?" he asked.
To him, it seemed as though she went from a stuck up snob to miss congeniality.
"Simply because they were nice to me and your not." she said patting him playfully on the stomach on the way out of the room.
She went into the kitchen to pour Howie and AJ drinks.
"You get to live with her?" Howie smirked.
"Unfortunately" he said glancing at her.
"She's gorgeous." AJ said smiling.
"She's prissy." Nick glared.
"She's funny." he smirked.
"She's moody!" Nick challenged.
AJ laughed and shook his head, "Your crazy."
