"Julia was at the party tonight and we danced and talked, then she went off with Gabby, and met this guy Danny. Well he drugged her and dragged her upstairs. When I got up there, the guy was all over her." Nick said.
"That's horrible. But, am I missing something? You said more than Julia knows. What doesn't she know?" Brooke asked.
"I uh, like Julia, a lot more than I want to." Nick confided.
"Why don't you want to like her?"
"We hardly know each other! But everything I do know, I like. But I just want to be friends with her right now. Please don't say anything to her about it." he pleaded.
"I promise I won't." she said.
"So how was your date?" he asked changing the subject.
"It was good, but whenever I am out with him, I feel like he is hiding something, or lying about something. But I love him so..." she said her mind trailing off.
"Yeah, but I should get going. I will see you tomorrow maybe." Nick said getting up.
"Bye." Brooke said as he left.
The next day, Julia only had one morning class. When she got back to the dorm room, there was a message on the answering machine from Nick.
"Hey Julia, it's Nick. I just wanted to see how you were feeling. Call me if you want. Bye."
Julia smiled at Nick's kindness. She picked up Brooke's address book and found and dialed his number. Nick picked up the phone and answered it.
"It's Julia. Thanks for calling me. I feel better, I just have a little headache still."
"That's good. Tonight, the guys want to all get together at you dorm room. Are you up for it?" Nick asked, hoping she'd say yes.
"Sure. You can all come over at 7 tonight, because Gabby gets out of her last class at 6:30. Okay?" she said.
"Yeah I will see you then. Bye." Nick said hanging up the receiver.
Gabby and Brooke got home around the same time and Julia told them what was up for tonight.
A little bit later, AJ, Howie, Brian, Kevin and Nick came in. They all sat around for awhile talking, until they were getting restless and bored.
"Let's play Truth or Dare." Gabby blurted out.
"Gab, that is a game you play in fifth grade." AJ complained.
"Quit whining! You will have fun, anyone ask me first." she beamed.
Kevin asked and she picked truth.
"When was your first kiss?" Kevin asked.
"Um, 15. Nick who was the last person you kissed?" Gabby asked.
"Okay I guess I picked truth. Her name was Becca." he said, then asked AJ truth or dare.
AJ picked truth, and Nick asked him if he ever cheated on Gabby.
"No. Nick, truth or dare?" AJ asked, Nick picked truth.
"Why do you like right now?" AJ smirked.
Nick shot Brian a mean look, he must have mentioned it to AJ.
"Nobody." Nick lied, "Gabriella, you can have my turn, I've run out of questions."
"Okay, Kevin, truth or dare?" she smirked.
"Dare."
"I dare you to kiss Julia, on the lips." Gabby dared childishly.
Nick's stomach turned, Julia wouldn't let Kevin kiss her right?
Kevin got up and crossed the room to where Julia was sitting.
She stood up, and Kevin leaned down to kiss her...
