The plane trip was 7 hours long, so most of them slept the first 4 or 5 hours of it. Around 9 am, the pilot made an announcement they would be arriving in Hawaii in about 2 and a half hours.
Gabby got up to use the bathroom, leaving Julia and Nick all alone. Julia put her hand into Nick's.
"I can't believe I have 7 hours in a confined place with you, and I can't kiss you, because you haven't told anyone we are dating." Julia whispered in his ear.
Nick smirked and then his face turned serious.
"Are you gonna be upset about Emily coming too?" he asked.
Julia shook her head no and took her hand out of
Nick's because Gabby was coming back to her seat.
"So are you excited?" Julia said happily to Gabby.
"Please don't even bother" Gabby said turning away.
Julia sighed and reclined in her seat. This was going to be a long trip.
Brian was listening to a CD and Brooke was lightly sleeping on his shoulder. Howie sat next to them, playing solitaire.
Emily was sitting between AJ and Kevin. Kevin tried to start a conversation with her but she seemed bored by it. AJ shifted uncomfortably in his seat and glared at Emily every now and then. AJ moved once again at an attempt to get comfortable. He grumbled and gave up. 'This is going to be a long trip...' he thought to himself.
Gabby put on her headphones and pressed the play button. 'The Call' started blasting from the headphones. She groaned and threw the CD player in her bag.
"This trip is going to be way too long...'" she mumbled to herself.
An hour later, AJ turned leaned forward to Howie and asked to switch seats with him.
"Afraid of Emily or something?" Howie snickered.
"Shut up D and switch with me." AJ said sounding angry.
Howie got up and switched with AJ.
Now, AJ was sitting behind Gabby and next to Brooke and Brian.
In front of him, Nick was playing some hand held video game. Julia casually bumped his hand so he lost the game.
"Hey!" he whined, while grabbing her side and tickling her.
"Nick...no...don't...Nick!" Julia said while giggling.
He stopped tickling her and she leaned against him.
"Can I use you as a pillow?" she asked in a cute voice.
Nick nodded and Julia laid her head down.
Julia smiled and hoped the week would go well.
