''What the?'' she said startled and tired. She rubbed her eyes to see better.
''What are you two doing here and how did you get in?''
Howie laughed, ''Well haven't you ever heard of doors? You walk through those then your inside.''
She laughed at his lame joke. ''You know what I mean.''
She got up off the couch and stretched. She looked at Hayley and Nick on the couch, Hayley's head on his chest and his head resting on hers.
''They would make a great couple.'' She blurted out.
''Yeah, too bad he is desperate for you!'' Howie said to Emma. She giggled.
''I know he has a, I guess you could say, crush on me. I am too afraid it will ruin our friendship though'' she said.
AJ just stood quietly watching.
''Well do you want to go to the movies or something?'' AJ asked.
''Yeah, let me just leave them a note'' Emma said as she reached into her pocketbook for a pen.
