"Nick, wait!" she said.
He turned around, "It's okay, I understand you don't love me anymore..." he choked out the last few words as a few tears fell from his eyes.
Hayley walked up to him and wrapped her arms around him. "I am such a horrible person, and I am not worth your tears." Hayley said, as they both sat back down on the bench together.
"You did nothing wrong, but believe what you thought you saw." Nick said.
"Thank you for the hug, and I am glad that we can at least be friends." Hayley looked at Nick, knowing he didn't get what she was saying.
She leaned in, and kissed Nick on the lips. It wasn't like any other kiss. It was full of forgiveness and love.
They parted from each other. "I am still in love with you Nick, and I always will be. I am sorry that I didn't give you a chance to explain." Hayley said staring into his watery ice blue eyes.
"I am in love with you too. And I am so happy you understand, because I wouldn't be able to go on without you." Nick said before leaning in to kiss her again.
This time it was with more passion. They stood up and walked hand in hand back into the hotel.
When they got to their floor Hayley stopped. "I need to talk to AJ." she said.
"You might want to talk to Em too, she slapped me!" Nick laughed.
Hayley tried not to laugh. "Aww poor baby" Hayley said kissing him once more before she walked into AJ's room.
When she walked in Emma and AJ were on his bed kissing each other. Hayley threw her hands over her eyes.
"Oh god guys, I am so sorry!" she said.
Emma and AJ looked at her like a preschooler.
"Lee, it's okay, it's not like you didn't know we kiss." Emma laughed.
AJ gave her a weird look.
"Yes, she knows" Emma sighed.
Hayley walked over to them and sat down.
"I talked to Nick. He explained everything, and it was really dumb of me to think what I thought. Nicole was crying over some problems she is having and Nick being a friend hugged her trying to make her feel better. Then they feel asleep." Hayley said to a fully alert Emma and AJ.
"Oh man. I was really harsh to him in the hall, I should go apologize." AJ said.
"Yeah you should!" Emma chimed in.
Hayley gave her an annoyed look.
"What?" Emma said defensively.
"You slapped him!" Hayley said through laughs.
Emma blushed, "Well I was just being a good friend!" she said in her defense.
"I know and I appreciate to no end what you two did for me last night." Hayley said.
"But just go talk to Nick." she added.
Hayley got up and hugged Emma tightly. Then walked over to AJ and kissed him on the cheek.
All three friends, went over to Nick's room. And they all talked for hours.
