Friday morning, the girls got up at 6 am and were at Brian's house by 7:30 am.
Nick had slept over Brian's house, so they wouldn't have to make two stops. After they got all of the luggage in the back, they decided Brian should drive first.
Anna sat up front with him and Leigh and Nick squished in the back. They started to drive, and around when they were getting on the highway, Nick slipped his arm around Leigh's waist. Leigh didn't say anything because it did give them a little more room.
About a half hour later, Brian stopped at a rest area. They all got out to go to the bathroom. When they got back, Nick and Leigh climbed back into the car.
Just as Anna and Brian were getting back in, they offered to get drinks. So they left Nick and Leigh alone, jammed in the back.
"So...how are you?" Leigh asked.
"Good. But I missed you a lot this week." he said, leaning over to kiss her.
Leigh leaned away from him, to dodge the kiss. Nick shot her a confused look.
"What?" he asked.
"Nothing." Leigh said, quickly kissing him on the cheek.
She hoped he would drop the subject because she didn't think he would understand the no-kissing-unless-dating idea.
"Are you okay?" he asked looking at her in a weird way.
"Yeah! I'm fine!" she said flashing a fake smile.
Just as Nick was about to say more, Anna and Brian got back in the car.
They drove awhile longer, then they got to the state forest where they were camping around 11 am.
Each campsite was a half mile away from the next.
By the time they had the tents set up and they got settled, it was 3 pm.
Anna suggested that the guys go get firewood, and the girls start dinner. So Brian and Nick went off and the girls started dinner.
About an hour later, they had a crackling fire and a nice dinner. After they ate, they played a few games, then turned in early.
Anna and Leigh were sharing a tent, and Brian and Nick were in the other.
Around 8 pm, Anna and Brian both decided to go to bed.
"Goodnight." Nick and Leigh called to them.
"I guess we should put out the fire and go to bed too." Nick said getting up.
"Yeah, that's a good idea." Leigh agreed getting up too, then climbing into the tent.
"Night Nick." she said zipping up the tent.
"No goodnight kiss?" he teased.
"I have a sore throat, sorry." she said and zipped up the tent, leaving Nick confused again.
He put out the fire and got into his own tent.
