Hey pple... Firstly...Happy b'day to Meb, and congrats to benz for finding a job. Sorry for not blogging regularly as i promised, been missing u all heaps. But there isn't much to write about anyway, nothing exciting happening in my world at the moment i have just been busy with work and family. Took two days off last week to go to a wedding in melbourne but got really sick and decided not to go and so i missed out on checking out all the hot guys that were going to be at the wedding...DAMNNNN... Bog called me on the weekend after a long time, she is still the same old bog, cant wait to see her in july. have to get back to work now will write abit more later.

1. What's one thing you've always wanted to do, but never have? two! get a black belt for self defense, I've always planned on taking lessons once I get to Australia before I turn 20 ..... and to go to a dancing school, but not to be a serious dancer, just a side thing i do.
2. When someone asks your opinion about a new haircut/outfit/etc, are you always honest? yes, that's why people ask. I mean.. if it was a haircut or outfit it's easy to be honest cuz I view those things conceptualy and artistically. If it's etc... i dunno
3. Have you ever found out something about a friend and then wished you hadn't? What happened? not really... i think. If i found out accidently.... oh well. If I did on purpose, curiosity killed the cat. Ok...I try to take responsibility and just accept it. What is, is.... and maybe it's a blessing in disguise too?!
4. If you could live in any fictional world (from a book/movie/game/etc.) which would it be and why? Danielle de Barbarac's world from Ever After. But not necessarily as her. I think her wicked stepsister Margaret can have so much more potential as a character. After seeing that movie I've always wondered if they'll make a part 2, the development and growth of Margarit. Much like Xena WP who was bad and then used her badness in the past to do good to the world over! I like to see change and renewal and hopefully give people a chance to do that. Good thing Hercules didn't kill Xena!
5. What's one talent/skill you don't have but always wanted? 1. Sing and play the guitar. 2. A good conversationalist who can charm people. (hehhe...)

1. What's one thing you've always wanted to do, but never have? i've always wanted to write a book, since i was in primary school...
2. When someone asks your opinion about a new haircut/outfit/etc, are you always honest? not always, i say how different it looks and how much it suits them then after that i make suggestions or pick something out.
3. Have you ever found out something about a friend and then wished you hadn't? What happened? when i found out i was just shocked that they think like that and would do such a thing. i dont think they know that i know. im still friends with them.

If you could live in any fictional world (from a book/movie/game/etc.) which would it be and why? tv show....i wanna be a hero..... like jack bauer of 24 or sydney from alias...special secret agent. its more real and deadly with all the things i can get pass and win through in this technological world since im the hero!

Here goes:
1. What's one thing you've always wanted to do, but never have? Be in a Hollywood movie as an extra. When you watch, u can see me for at least a minute. Pointing and saying OMG there's Mariebel! lol. Invent something that will help people. Travel and see the world. That's more than one thing, but there is so much I want to do but haven't.....yet
2. When someone asks your opinion about a new haircut/outfit/etc, are you always honest? Most of the time I really don't have an opinion. If that's what they want, go for it! Generally I lack the energy to make an opinion, unless I care.
3. Have you ever found out something about a friend and then wished you hadn't? What happened? Yes and it changed our friendship completely. I couldn't trust her, and we didn't speak for years. It wasn't really something about her, I just realised what kind of friend she really was.
4. If you could live in any fictional world (from a book/movie/game/etc.) which would it be and why? I used to love the Sim Series, Sim City/Sim Hospital where I'm the Mayor or Hospital CEO controlling my employees, building and developing new technology. It's all about power. lol. More recently I'd love to be in the PS2 game Kingdom Hearts. So cool hanging with Disney characters and being this heroric character trying to save the world in a non violent manner. When you die, you can just press continue. A cool book to be in would be Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings.
5. What's one talent/skill you don't have but always wanted? Love to be able to sing like Mariah Carey.

Feeling flushed she entered the lecture room as quietly as possible. She quickly scanned the room at the nearest row of seats which was the back row and saw the familiar figure. Slipping into the seat next to him she raised her eyes toward the board at the front and pretended to be interested at what she missed out on. At least until the lecturer had finished passing his eyes in her direction and forgot her. Then a conversation would begin as quietly as possible over the events that happened in the short time of just overnight. Usually, while she carried on with the conversation and shared a few giggles she would multitask with writing whatever words came out of the lecturer's mouth. And it was one of those days because she felt like she should do more than just pretend, and at least learn something so she won't have to read through the chapter for the essay. A few minutes later someone else slipped into the seat next to her. Sometimes she waited for this girl next to her to rummage through her bag. But more often the girl simply sat and joined in with the conversation while at the same time they all pretended to be very keen students. Soon they realised that the lecturer occasionaly looked their way. So the conversation would settle into note-passing instead. As the lesson went on, the three continued their chatting as if they've never seen each other for a year.
Then the lecturer announced it was time for a break. The three relaxed heartily and the two late comers would then walk to the front and approach the lecturer for their names to be marked off. As soon as that was done the three would fall into a more relaxed topic and began searching for their missing friend.
"Mariebel just sent me a message... she'll meet us here after the lecture, " she announced.
"I hope she brings the book! I wanna see what they wrote on it! Guess what? My brother and sister's group won the dance contest! I'm so happy for them!" Arvin gushed in a loud voice.
"Really? Why didn't you join them?" "Yeah, you could have joined the group!"
Arvin rolled his eyes heavenwards and twisted his mouth sideways at both late-comers. "No."
"Come on Arvin. You like those music and you can dance like those R&B people. Did you know Juliet Landau is a ballerina?"
"Me? Good in dancing? I don't think so!" Arvin denied out loud, but secretly he smiled at the thought. It was a compliment he liked because he knew he Was good. Just like those black American guys. He practised long and hard in front of the mirror.
And so the conversation went on. Later the four friends gathered for lunch with Mariebel completing the Friday afternoon group. They showed her the transcript of their conversation during the lecture and shared some laughs and the usual teasing.
"Hey guys! There's a uni dance party next Friday. Wanna go to it?" Mariebel asks the group over the chinese dish of chicken with bamboo shoots and sauce with rice. The food, being always the same (except for the beef dish which only Arvin and Mariebel ate) whichever campus you go seemed to taste better each time only because the conversation was as familiar and relaxed as any close friends could have.
"Yeah! We should enjoy student privileges while we're here! We Can go! And besides I won't have to clean."
"Yeah that's right we should enjoy it! Here's the flyer. And Arvin can do the pulling dance like this." The group burst into fists of laughter at each others wild antics and inside jokes.
"Yeah cool! I'll just ring work for a sickie. This doesn't happen often anyway so I might as well."
"Uh... really? Ummm... I'll see. It's really hard to go home at night. There's no bus and it's hard to get taxi..."
"I might have to see Hosai today. She wants me to help her with IWSD."
"Again? I thought she finished it? Didn't she get notes from someone last week? I saw her at Chicken Man on my way over here from work."
"Did you see J.Lo yesterday? She seemed to Glow just like her new perfume because of Lee."
"Hehehe! She's really lucky to have that job! What with her bum and all."
"Beenish still hasn't found a job. It's scary cuz she's so smart! Although she did get an offer once but it was so far away."
"Azeena is leaving soon. She's asked me to one day go to sheepland and visit her."
"Awww.... your best friend! How was the zoo? I wish I came with you. But I pissed my parents off so I couldn't go. And I'm pissed off at my brother and sister! Actually I'm just pissed!"
"Yeah we had fun. Beenish kept ruining the bird show for us! Did you see Amali's pictures? Hers turned out pretty well!"
"I got my digital camera today...ok you three get closer while I take a picture. Vivienne move closer!"
"Hrrmph! Ok, wait, I have to move my bag."
"Hey ask that guy to take it for us!"
"One, two, three, JAMV!"

Just writing something about what I miss most about uni... To the rest of the fellowship please don't feel bad about the JAMV thing. It's just that on Fridays it's us four and we all feel relaxed and easy because......it's Friday!
Anyway.... some of them are exaggarations ok. And of course time line is not in order. Doesn't matter anyway...i think it all happened in a blur.
So what do you miss most about uni?
