WARNING: Disheartening and Dispiriting Entry Ahead.
THAT'S IT! NO MORE EXCUSES!
That's what I keep telling myself for a week now. So I plucked up the courage to finally update my resume. I still have some high school stuff on it and I thought I should get rid of some and leave the really good ones. Then I almost have none to write (lol). I checked out my sis resume and thought it was good. So at least I had a framework of a resume for a computing graduate. You know, the ones that include which prog languages and software I know. Man! I wish I knew more! Kinda made me realise if I'm regretting my time in uni. No, no... not my social life. My academic life which eventually leads to a career, if any. Now I'm thinking... was I even paying attention? Was I asleep? (yeah josette, sometimes you were falling into that welcoming oblivion just to escape the lecturer's sermons). I wish I really did more! Like even the ones Mariebel and Hosai did about that webdesigning for Hewso thingo. Should've done Animation with Amali and learned Flash. Where is that assignment "I did" for IWSD? Didn't do IT something for the Olympics. I didn't even send my free membership for Apesma! Anything! You regret more the things you didn't do. How true! Well, no point crying over spilt milk now.
So what did I really learn academically? I'm terrified of the task we must do ahead of us. The inevitable lying or exaggerating just to get something in return for what we've gone through for 4 years. They say you only get as much as you put in. Kinda makes me think, how much did I put in? hmmnnn....
In the end...... ...just some advice pls and resume writing (Hi Beenish! Hi Roya!)
When I look back I say "It wasn't so bad, but I wish I did more."
p.s. OMG!!!!! Do we HAVE TO show our subjects with the.......grades????!!! p.p.s. HERE IT COMES!!! (hey, that's the Powerpoint file suffix! Is that kind of knowledge resume-worthy?)
