Religion in School Throughout the World
Tuesday, 9 August 2005
The United States
Instead of complaining about having or not having religion in schools, we should teach our children to take initiative themselves. Teachers are not leagally allowed to participate in religious actions, however our children can pray and speak about religion if they want on their own time. We should encourage our children to feel free to pray by themselves or with others. I personally have had the opportunity to do just this with a group of friends before a final exam. I felt more comfortable and confident knowing I had my religious beliefs with me.
