1. Is the name you have now the same name that's on your birth certificate? If not, what's changed?
Same name i just dont use them all, all the time. Mostly use just two names.

2. If you could change your name (first, middle and/or last), what would it be?
im used to it now. i just wish i could change the meaning of my first.

3. Why were you named what you were? (Is there a story behind it? Who specifically was responsible for naming you?)
Mum. Dad originally wanted 'G' name after himself. He liked Girlie (urrrrgh!), or Gladys (after me bro) but mum wanted it to be a 'T' after herself. So there was a compromise and eventually i have T first, G second name. Except i have a name not the same as my mums, but a name just the same.

4. Are there any names you really hate or love? What are they and why?
I like unusual or uncommon names.

5. Is the analysis of your name at kabalarians.com / triggur.org / astroexpert accurate? How or how isn't it? i cant really remember too well. but i think it was pretty acurate.

     2am ramble
I know - I'm going to work tomorrow. I really thought work would push my night owl-ishness out of me but it has grown stronger. I think it comes from trying to fit more hours in the day. I will regret staying up this late in the morning - but hey, who wants to think that far ahead?

Ooh A has more questions - you rock man. B updates - hmm none really other than the usual. My current movie fave is Pirates of the Caribbean - this movie is fantastic. That'll show Hollywood that pirate movie don't automatically mean crap - yahoo!

1. Is the name you have now the same as on your birth cert?
- Yep though there were a few spelling mistakes. For eg, I never lived in Yarndar Road.

2. If you could change your name, what would it be?
- I used to hate how my name rhymes when said whole. Rebecca Anne etc. Then I thought "yay!" when it came time for my confirmation cause I got to choose my confirmation name which is catherine but it doesn't make it rhyme any less. I played a game once where I stood at Town Hall station and was trying to pick a new surname out of all the stations and chose Asquith till my mum told me it was a bad name because it could be broken down into saying "ask to quit" - ergo loser name. Yes, my mum thought too much. Oh god! Long way of saying - I love my first name and that's all I hear 90% of the time so I am cool.

3. Why were you named waht you were?
- My father loved the Daphne Du Maurier (sp?) book Rebecca so here I am. Thank God as his second choice was Prudence.

4. Names you hate or love?
- I love some of A's choices here in what he loves. Dante is a mad name!! I tend to dislike the really boring plain names like John and Joe and Fred and on the flipside, dislike too weird names because of cruel kids in the schoolyard ergo Moonunit, Dweezil, Zowie and Tigerlily. Yes, kids out there have those names.

- I love Xander, Eowyn, Alana, Desdemona (ok most things Shakespeare), Laura, Aurora, Naomi, Hermione (oh man I love that name!), Marissa, Jimmy and to be different - Medjai

- then again, I really love the unusual names so I'm gonna get a whole lot of pets just to self-gratify myself with names like Herculaneum, Pompeii, hacksaw, Pontiff, Jerky, Rendevous, Dakota, San Fran Cisco(san is first, fran is middle and cisco is surname) - also Fire! Horatio and all other Shakespeare names like Yorrick and Hamlet.

5. Is the analysis of your name accurate at www.kabalarians.com -- no idea. Will check it out soon though.

---Ok should go to bed. I had trouble posting here before as it took a while to load but that could just be my slow comp. Later guys.

Love B

     my name
hi all!

1. Is the name you have now the same name that's on your birth certificate? If not, what's changed?
Same all

2. If you could change your name (first, middle and/or last), what would it be?
no, its all good

3. Why were you named what you were? (Is there a story behind it? Who specifically was responsible for naming you?)
my dad, it usually means friend of the people... i dont know, he said he just liked it.

4. Are there any names you really hate or love? What are they and why?
I like names that sounds either powerful or nice.... these are names i like right now.....
Boy names i like Alexander, Emilio, Dante, Giovani, Thomas, Tommy, Wlliam, Antonio, Noah, Joshua.. etc
Girl names i like Elizabeth, Catherine, Liana, Kirsten, Rosa, Felicia, Jennifer, Isabella, Victoria, Naomi... etc
i dont hate any names.......

5. Is the analysis of your name at kabalarians.com / triggur.org / astroexpert accurate? How or how isn't it?
I dont know... some are true.... i use Arvin all the time but the my real first name in my birth certificate is Arvinlexter, thats one word.......here is the analysis from >> www.kabalarians.com ........you be the judge......

Your first name of Arvin creates individuality, independence, self-confidence, initiative, and an inclination to physical activity. You are not inclined to merge your opinions and viewpoints with others, to accept compromise, or to work in a subservient position against your will. Your expression is invariably quite direct and candid, and lacks the moderating tone of tact, diplomacy, and friendliness. Others find it difficult to accept your domineering and, at times, argumentative manner. Your circle of friends is restricted to those of like nature. Once friendship is established, you are very loyal and steadfast and do not tolerate gossip or criticism. In your close associations and family life, there is little demonstration of sentiment, appreciation, sympathy, or encouragement. It is difficult for you to find the right words for such circumstances.

Lexter as a first name gives you a very independent nature, yet you are friendly, approachable, and generous. You can be a spontaneous, expressive, and talkative person. Generally you are good-natured, though at times you can be rather blunt and sarcastic. This name incorporates creative, artistic, and musical abilities, and there would be an element of originality in all that you do. You like to do things on the spur of the moment without planning or prior arrangements. Your spirits are buoyed up greatly by encouragement and appreciation. There is a tendency to be scattering in your efforts and you prefer to avoid menial jobs of a routine and repetitive nature. You are inclined to pursue good times and emotional indulgences to excess.

cya,
Arvin
ps. i just got a name analysis book .......so......send me your full name in my email.....(first, middle, last name) and when i learn it, i'll give you a translation of your name....cool!

EELS Tour of Duty. Enmore Theatre 13/09/03

"God damn right it is a beautiful day!"

I laughed, i danced, i sang, and i was moved to tears.
I am so emotional i think i have love for the entire world at this moment. Mr E, i love you. World, i love you too.

Basically what im trying to say is that the concert rocked. I've said it before and i'll say it again. There's nothing like live music. Recordings just don't do it justice.
Being a foot shorter than most of the people in front of me, i was a bit frustrated when everyone stood up. But at times when all i could see were peoples backs i just closed my eyes and i was transported. I could feel the music.

Simply brilliant they were! We didnt want it to end and they obliged by giving what i believe were three encores.
And When the lights had finally switched on and half the theatre had filed out, they came back on stage and rocked the place with a finale of Deep Purple's 'smoke on the water'.

**GLOATING ALERT!!** Then after the show a select few of us received a signed poster. *grin*

Yes, i did enjoy myself. And yes the EELS are brilliant. Next time they tour near you go and experience. That is all. Goodnight.

     hey all
OOh Friday Fives, I have missed these!

5. What was your best vacation ever?
For many reasons, Surfers in 2002.

Latest on B - nothing and everything really. V, I can't go on the 27th. I hadn't told JC and so he went ahead and made plans with his folks for us two thinking it was still on the 13th. So right now, my only weekend free stands to be the 13th and the nothing till October. I'm not asking you to change it or anything like that but I am really sorry about it. I'm sure you'll have heaps of fun though.

I have started looking again. Job searching that is. It's the most gut wrenching and soul destroying activity to constantly audition and audition for 'roles' and then getting that 'oh sorry you just weren't good enough'...here's hoping anyway.

Hey A, read your posts here - woah! I hadn't been here for a while because for some reason, it was taking forever to load and then it conked out completely on me. Nice to be back though - I'm in a cranky mood right now and I'm sorry for it because I feel it filtering into my speech. T, hope you got the interactive CD on pirates and A, keep reaching for those IT roles. It's all possible! ....later guys

Love B
