Hey there guys! Last night was great and thank you for a fantastic time. I still can't believe Michael got in with all that alcohol, I was sure he was going to get caught. He has balls man! and not just the literal ones.

Hey Arvin! I was thinking we could all get together for a day out in the city. I was figuring that the main reason you couldn't come last night was because it was short notice and it was really late. The marathon ended at 5.30 in the morning. But I was thinking we could get a group of us to all go out for a nice day in the city. Sort of like the blog day picnic but in a different setting like Hyde park or as V suggested, the Botanic Gardens. We could go early in the morning and have a full day and you could be home by dinner ! What do you say? I was thinking we could set this up for not this week but next week just to give enough time and notice to people. I can't go on the weekend but am free on the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (aka 3-7th of Feb). I can't on the Thursday cause I have an inspection at 4 that afternoon. It's a bugger it isn't in the morning like usual but oh well....but yeah! Can you come? It would just be a nice cool day hanging with some truly cool people...hehe. It wouldn't cost much cause we could bring food or just go to Woolworths Metro in the city where it is all mega cheap...sort of like last time where we went to the shops and got a bunch of food and brought it back to the park.

I know holidays aren't ending for a while but I just want to grasp every opportunity to hang out! So ergo my sense of desperation here! No date is set but I was aiming for the 3-7th week...what are your thoughts guys?

I was so tired when I got home. I actually ended up walking up after Michael and V dropped me off to get my beloved NW magazine....I know it is a trashy mag and half the crap in it is false but I like it. I don't believe any of it but still love it...I really love the crozzle inside. It has been my futile dream to win the $1000 crozzle and I have sent it in almost every week hoping to get lucky...and man will you hear about it if I win that thing! But yeah, walked back home and fell asleep on the couch. I don't think anything is open so I decided to come online and just veg cyber-style.

Holy crap V, that is a lot of jobs. You go girl! My history work-wise is short, as in very short...I focused more on study cause I didn't have the motivation to multi-task. I just wanted one channel to pay attention to...it was my un-motivated period.

I bought a top yesterday...lol yeah can you tell I am getting to the big news?! ha!..but yeah, bought a top yesterday and love it but..ok...I sweat a lot. It is a disgusting fact but I sweat a lot on the underarms. I don't have it as bad as some other people who actually change clothes three to four times a day because of the sweat, thank God! ... but I do sweat. I wish I could put panty liners on my friggin' underarms but it would be way too uncomfortable. I think it is stress related partly and partly just me. I've always been like this. It is why I hate the winter...I am all rugged up and sweating and then it is cold on the inside of my clothes and cold outside too. It sucks. It is only my top half of the body for some reason....friggin' weird. For a long day out now, I usually take another top with me.... but yeah, it has affected my choice in clothes cause I look at a colour and go "if I sweat, that will show"...it bothers me. ...and that I assure you is the end of that pointless little ramble. :)

Friday Fives

1. Where do you currently work? - No 'conventional' job but I do earn some dough selling stuff on Ebay
2. How many jobs have you had? - I worked as an office junior for an architect firm in the city...haha must be the same breed of people that were T's colleagues at that standards place....I will never forget this woman who wanted a square cut out of a piece of cardboard. She took the scissors and gave me the cardboard and said to me "well, do it for me"....Staff on the overall were not nice and were shitty to the office juniors. They expected us to know all the supplies' names on the first day....when I left, a few office juniors and the secretary soon followed. I worked briefly at the cinema but couldn't continue cause the hours were way too late...I could not go home at 1am in the morning on the train...I am paranoid so yeah. I learnt though just how much oil goes into popcorn....in a word....yuk! I went off popcorn for a couple of months after that.

3. What do you like best about your job? Well, if I had one, it would hopefully be the people. You can have a fantastic job with fantastic pay but if the people suck, so eventually does the job cause I learnt that people really do make the environment.

4. What do you like least about your job? Well, if I had one, it would be basically unfriendly people. People who don't go out of their way to make an effort to say hi and be at least a little nice. I'd say long hours too but in the right job, I would not care.

5. What is your dream job? I feel foolish in saying it cause I have not done anything about it for years...when I do something about it, I'll say.

I love your Friday fives Arv...keep 'em coming! ..anyways, better head off to do some Ebay stuff...

Luv ya all........Love B

Hi ya all,

HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY!!!!

I havent written in a while. I aplogize.

I went to the beach today so was able to escape this heat for a while. Unfortuanately it is hotter out west than at the beach. that makes no sense, whatsoever! Sure it is commonsensical considering it is closer to the water so the constant temperature of the water means there is a more constant temperature in the air closer to the water. but it does not seem fair! I mean, what are we in the west meant to do? We are no where near the beach!

Friday Five
1. Where do you currently work?
UWS in Richmond. I am an envelope stuffer. It is repetitive, but the people are nice and we all work very well togethjer. It is a temp thing, but it is better than nothing!
2. How many other jobs have you had and where?
So many! I have worked for the Arthritis Foundation, CUTCO Australia, Acuiti Legal, an envelope stuffing thing through ABLE Recruiting, Baileys Promotion, and a whole lot of voluntary jobs for charities and film things.
3. What do you like best about your job?
At UWS it is the pay! And the the thimble thing we use to make the piles. It feels like a bandaid when you take it off!

Paper cuts. My poor fingers and hands!
5. What is your dream job?
Production Manager for film. These people get to travel A LOT!!!! And the pay is great!

More other stuff

hey all!

my hair is now short. its not exactly reese witherspoon but its as close as my hair is ever going to get to look like hers in sweet home alabama.

So what else? well today i baby sat for a while and watched The Wiggles on dvd for 3--T-H-R-E-E--H-O-U-R-S!! i have to say its very much like aerobics dancing along to 'dorothy the dinosaur' and 'hot potato' and 'fruit salad (yummy yummy'. i shall never be able to stop adding the words "yummy yummy" after the words 'fruit salad'.
Oh and i was also in a car accident on Monday. was nothing major, but dont you think its strange how we (well in this case I) take this major issue for granted? i mean it should be a big episode in my life, it could hav ended it if things were different! And yet i completely forgot about it for three days! didnt even mention it to ness or carol whom i saw on tuesday. hmmm

been at home and its so hot with no air-condition, just fans, at least. been staying up using free net and hang with my bro and sis. we've been watching a lot fo cokking show at the afternnoon like the naked cheif and 2 fat ladies...and lunch is a lot of experimenting with food....we can find in the pantry or the fridge...lol...fun times...my back is doing well!!!

the movie marathon sounds like a good idea but i might not be 100%. but i really want to go....so i well try and make it. it should be so much fun and i have never done it...cool!

Hey there guys! I hope you are all fan-friggin-tastic!

Yay! I just read the shout box comments and this is just great! It seems that everyone is wanting to see the same movie marathon aka Movie Marathon #2...you know how usually impossible it is to get everyone to want to see the same movie?...let alone three?....this is great! Hey Arvin, can you come? The marathon starts on Sunday at 11pm and will probably finish around about sunrise so getting home won't be too scary or anything like that. How will we all meet up you guys? ... will we do some Australia day celebrations first or just meet up for the marathon? I am hoping I don't fall asleep..I have never done this before and I'm bloody excited...lol sorry if it sounds lame...maybe I'm not getting enough action or something hehe. But Australia Day stuff .. there is heaps on in the city and Parra and Olympic Park. I don't know about Penrith which is where we all want to do the marathon....ooh and there are fireworks in the city for the day also...

I hope plans go ok for this and everything. I say this only cause when we usually plan something, we have more than a week in notice for people but here, we only have ...eek less than a week. It's this Sunday! .... the price is $18 for the marathon which is pretty damn good considering one film usually costs $10 and thats on concession. Food might be the source of the spending....we could bring our own! Set up a picnic style thing in the cinema!...arhhhhh!! I am full of crazy stupid ideas. I am still wanting to wear my PJs but I think if I am the only one, I will wuss out.

Oh god pool...I can not play that game. I rush my moves and hit too hard or too little....my whole game is way off in every category. I want a foosball (spelling?) table..I like that game better though I am not that great at it either. I like loud games....I remember playing it with V at Clints in Blacktown once and it was so loud and everyone was looking at us. I can't believe we didn't get kicked out....oooh I love Hungry Hippos too. That's a loud game too. .. ok went off on a tangent again!

Ooh we get to see your sweet home alabama hair T! I can't wait! Now that is getting in the spirit of the movie when we all see it on Sunday! You are so daring girl...I'm sure it will look great though. I could not do it but for me, it would not suit me. I have a very round face and I need to lessen it with my long hair. Maybe when I lose some more weight in the face, I would really cut it.

This has nothing to do with anything but I really miss Stone Cold Steve Austin...he is this mega great wrestler and he walked out on the company cause he was sick of the storylines that were way too stupid and over the top...lol as I am sure you non-wrestling fans would know, so yeah..he left and it hasn't been the same. It looks like he is coming back and I swear I wet myself with excitement at that but they may be pulling my chain just to get ratings....grrrr if so and yay!! if not.

Luv ya all.........Love B

Hey there guys!

Just wanted to say thanks for the great day...great as always! I'm sorry you couldn't make it Arvin! I hope you are feeling better now. I hope it was just heat related so you would be ok now cause it is cooler....and on that, holy crap, 45 friggin' degrees. ?! I remember walking around in Woodcroft and the hot wind felt like a tanning bed on my face. I don't remember the last time it has ever been that hot. I get so crabby in the heat..as I am sure most people do but I hate seeing that side of me prop up.

I hope the movie marathon idea happens. I have never done it before and to do it with friends would make it ten times as good! Oooh yeah! A ! I had this idea for us to go to the movie marathon that is on Australia Day. Would you be able to come? It would be at Penrith Plaza so it's not too far and comfy seats too! We were thinking of being real dags and bringing pillows and stuff....oh my god I have an urge to turn up in my PJs! Now that is comfort ! .. but yeah, hope you can come! Nothing is official or anything, it is more a cool idea floating around right now.

Hey V I got your sms when I got home. I didn't bring my mobile cause it was recharging (the battery has the heart of an 80 yr old) so didn't know to bring my blog pics...I should have thought to do it though but thanks for showing yours. I'll get the Santa pic done really soon and send it on over. It doesn't cost much really but I seem to be broke by the time I get to that place lately.

Argh! I can't believe it's the middle of January already. Where did the time go? I'm getting that same feeling I had all of last year where I stop and realise and see that the year has been running out from under me. I got a diary the other day from the mad stationery sales....I love January..there is like a million sales going on..but yeah, I got a diary cause I am thinking it will motivate me. Ok, my thought process here is that I have this diary and I am gonna wanna fill it with events and plans etc etc cause no one wants an empty non-happening diary right? So yep, that's my new ploy to get more steam into my caboose....it sounds stupid but I am a procrastinator...I never realise that time is just flying while I la la along so I am trying to run with it more now.

Ooh T, there is a legolas A4 folder on sale right now. I don't know what availability is like of it now but then I reckon people would restock. You might have already seen it..it's an A4 binder with Legolas on the front and back with green celtic like patterns all over.....and on that note, I gotta say I love the stationery sales. I love all things to do with stationery. I reckon it is cause my parents were both very big on writing cause they used to write ten page letters to each other twice a week during their courtship and I think that carried on to me somehow. I mean yeah I love writing but man, stationery! And during the Back to School sales, they bring out all this cool stuff they never bring out during the rest of the year like Mathomats and special ergonomic pens...and the specials ! A 48 page exercise book for five cents! That is crazy !!

Ok I think I went off on a tangent there ...I'm done now though ! Hey V, good luck again with the whole Wayne money thing. I hope he keeps to his word. And A, I hope you get the internet back soon! There are quite a few out there that don't need you to have a credit card and you can just pay by money order. They send you an invoice each month through your e-mail and then you send out a money order to them. I know having a credit card is much easier but they scare me. I have a card that is like a credit card in that I can use it as one except it has no credit..only what is the in the account already and I like that....credit limits scare me.

Oh yeah, we didn't end up seeing 8 Mile. We were too hot and I think it affected our judgment cause it became more about how much we were willing to spend on tickets and popcorn just to be in an airconditioned theatre. Plus Saturday night at blacktown in a small theatre equals heaps of people and lots of talking. I have quickly learned that in that cinema, it doesnt matter where you sit, if anyone starts talking, you will hear them.

I might leave it here....I didn't mean to go on so long but then I always say that don't I?

Luv ya all.........Love B

hello again all,

i did intend to be on earlier than this, but it was not to be.

anyways, Christmas.... as i said I ate too much and met mopre of Michael's family. I have met almost everyone now. There are just so many people! In my extended family, there are only two other people to meet in Australia, and we only talk to one of them! but, him, there are just so many!

new years eve... went to teris place and then rooty hill rsl. we were back at Michaels place by 11:30pm where we ended up watching the fireworks on TV before going to bed at about 1am.

i am spending a lot of time with michael lately.

and that is an update on my life.

i am looking forward to Saturday at Teri's.

B, whats happening with the Santa photo from GB?

Oh, last night I was told that there is a piece of paper that canbe gotten from the police to get stuff from someone. I shall explain... as we all know, Wayne owes me A LOT of money! Michael told me that I can go to the police where I can get this piece of paper that states that I must be given whatever is o the list within 28 days or something or there will be legal action. He got one from an ex a few years ago coz she was a bitch to him and he locked her out of the house. We wont go into that. The point is, I have power here. I thought that my $1000 was never to be seen again. I will talk to him, in a civil way as soon as I can. That will hopefully be the end of January when he brings the girls back home. I will ask for money each month or whatever. i will not bring the police into it yet, although I intend to go to the police to find out about it in the next few days. I am asking for over $1000 upfront! I am asking for something each month or whatever. I was really excited when I heard about this piece of paper! Thank you, B, for the direct deposit idea. I will speak to him about it.

I must now go to check my Lord of the Rings taping. I have it now, obviously. I think I will buy it soon, though.

hello all,

i am really pissed off right now, but kindda free. shirley and i got into a huge fight about the amount of mess she leaves for me to clean up. i have decided that she does not exist. i see her mess and i dont actually "see" it. i actually chucked a whole lot of her stuff into her room. she tried to get me back by putting some more mess into the kitchen. i ignored it. she has been banned from eating dinner coz i made it. thing is, most of the stuff in the fridge is something that i made. lol.

enough of her...

i look forward to teris shindig! and i like the fact that i was allocated organiser before being asked. lol. i dont mind if its dinner or lunch. neither does michael. either way we will probably be late.

ok.... Christmas was good. i ate far too much. i met some more of michael's family. speaking of which, my hunny is on his way. ill blog again later.

I tried to go the stocktake thing but i was kinda late. I only went last week to the city and was very disappointed to find no more small sized shoes available. Although come to think of it, there are NEVER any small sized shoes in the city. the injustice!
By the way, I HAVE MY VERY OWN LEGOLAS TOY! i scared this woman who was reaching for it at the same time but i beat her to it. im sorry but i had been searching for it everywhere and it was last on the shelf. And also never ming about searching for Boromir on ebay for me Bec, they are bringing out another edition of Boromir toys.
Those Leunig cartoons are funny and sometimes just plain weird. Have you seen the one where the woman ends up wearing the man like a thong?!!!!???
think about it.

Hey guys!

Oh my god! lol..I thought I would be the newbie post since it has been a bit quiet of late at our site but you two beat me to it! Welcome back! Congrats Therese! That is fantastic news. And you didn't scrape through, you got friggin' distinctions! You go girl! As Arvin said, you do deserve it! You kicked ass and now you can doubly enjoy the rest of your holidays knowing you did just that!

My NYE was quiet. Good but quiet. Jus and I just spent it watching the fireworks. It made me sad in a way cause it didn't feel like it was NYE...like holy crap! Another year gone just like that. It's like that Leunig cartoon where the little guy wakes up and it's March, he brushes his teeth and reads the morning paper and finds that it is August etc etc...time friggin' flies. New year's resolutions...hmmm...more healthy eating and lifestyle, being less passive-aggressive (I really hate that I am), be more pro-active rather than, well non-active! I love that it's January..clean-slate month...!

Argh, I am ranting. Christmas was good. Boxing Day was the official Xmas of Justin's family and it was good too but there were times during that day I wish I was with my family. His family have a nice traditional Christmas and it is really good and all but .. it has to be just me but I really felt Xmas when it was with my mum and dad. We didn't have turkey cause my father can't eat tough meat like that but it was really cool. And my mum made us drinks with creaming soda and ice cream in it and we brought the pets in the house so they could watch TV with us. It was simple but really cool.

28th of December...braved crowds and went to the city for stocktake sales. Not much..very disappointing. Maybe I was looking in the wrong place. There were a lot of people about though and there was a nice atmosphere in the city. ... after NY, Jus and I finally saw LOTR but it was at Blacktown...I know! It did not do it justice for a first viewing! I love the big cinemas...I know its a catch-22 cause big cinema means more people means lesser odds that everyone will stay quiet and no one will answer their damn phone that they just cannot possibly put on friggin' silent for three hours...how ego is that?...are they all on-call doctors? I don't like the idea of being able to be contacted at any time whenever..lol and as some will attest, I have successfully accomplished the goal of being uncontactable at times...sorry about that guys! ...and sorry again...I am rambling...to the film!! Friggin' fantastic! And I did cartwheels in my head (I do really good ones in there) when I saw my fave elf Haldir on the screen. I was all wheeee!!!! until they friggin' killed him! I hope that isn't too much of a spoiler but then I'm banking on the reaction of "who the hell is Haldir?". But yes, fan-friggin-tastic. I actually saw it again at Penrith with Sumrah and Cat and this time it was in Cinemaxx ! This was on, as Cat calls it, 'tight-ass Tuesday' and heaps of people went. The cinema was packed but they were a great audience...no mobiles!! And everyone got into the story and were laughing with Gimli and at Gollum and were all "awww" when people like Haldir *sob* died. I love it when we all get in sync like that..that's most of the reason I go the cinemas..but yeah! It was also great seeing Sumrah cause, well every time I see her, it feels like it has been ages since I saw her last. The girl looks great people! but very tired. She also did well in TAFE and got a credit.

Hey Arvin, that's great to hear that your back is just suffering some muscle pain. You must have pulled one back there somehow. I hope the Herron kicks in real soon so you can get back to your Tae Bo full blast! Good on ya about your resolutions too, I reckon you will be one of the few people who will actually stick to them! ..and my god I agree! It was so hot today! I was so glad I had to go out to pay bills so I could stick my head in the freezer section in Woolies. It is so damn hot...I hate and love this time of year..hate cause whatever I wear I completely soak in cause I sweat a lot in the summer but I love it cause the days are longer...the sun is still hanging around at 7pm and I really love that.

Hey A, slow start can be good sometimes....I am sure it will kick into high gear soon...until then....I'd love it if we could all get together again before the holidays go. Like a day out in the city in Hyde Park..lol ok that was really specific but seriously, anywhere where we can just hang and talk. We could go and see LOTR together!! lol ok I just wanna see that film all the time so ignore me. ...... I better head off..I truly didn't mean to go on like I did. Every time I go on and on, I remember what my teacher Mrs Tillman used to say "Be more succinct Rebecca!"...*gulp* I am trying!

Luv ya all........Love B

Oooh P.S...I ended up using livejournal Arvin cause I remembered I had a livejournal account from ages ago so I am just gonna use that. I'll still blog here of course ! but there I can just 'blah' and maybe not be so 'blah' here then! It's kinda all over the place right not cause I originally posted to a Moulin Rouge livejournal as well as mine so the first few entries are all bohemian-themed and kinda whimsy. The URL is www.livejournal.com/users/boho_girl .... sorry for the long P.S ... God Bless !

HAPPY NEW YEAR ARVIN, BEC, CAROL, KAT, ME, NESS AND SUMRAH! AND TO EVERYONE ELSE TOO!

Hello folks!

Hope everyone had a great NYE! Sorry about not wanting it at my place, i was kinda partied out so my place was a no no. My place is fine but just not in the immediate future at the moment. Gimme a couple of weeks. Ask me again next week and we shall see.

Anyway, i hope all are having a wonderfull start to the New Year. As for myself it was a relief not to see a single fail on my exam results for the first time in 18months! In fact i did quite well and am so so HAPPY! I passed all and got two Distinctions (marketing-which i professed to detest, and Commercial Law II-which i loved). I dont mean to brag but i just havent had such a good result in so long! Anyway, i am content.

Back- tracking to the 26th of December...
I went to see the 11.45pm marathon of Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers
Arrived at cinema at 9.00pm to camp out. We were allowed to enter at 11.45pm
It did not start until 12.30am
Despite an irritating beginning "shhh,shhh...shhh,shhh,shhh....shut up!...shhh,shhh,shhh...shut up!"
They eventually settled down.
3.40am 'Fellowship' ended and intermission begins
3.50am 'The Two Towers' begins
7.00am We see sunlight
The verdict: Excellent, Awesome
7.30am Breakfast
8am Sleep
