The innermost thoughts of a Zuluprincess....
Wednesday, 13 August 2003

Well, at least the high notes of my song didn't prove to be a problem. Because I didn't get to the bloody high notes, I could hardly breathe and I had a 'frog in my voice'. If anyone uses that saying one more time, I think they will get smacked.

So it was crap. But at least it sounded as though I was sick, rather than that I just really can't sing. Too bad I made a fool of myself and bawled my eyes out, staying calm in situations like that has never really been by strong point.

And it gave Jill the limelight of going up and getting my certificate for me, lol. Such a scab, I'm going to the flute solo performance day whether she likes it or not now. :)

Well, at least I didn't mutilate a wonderful song from a WONDERFUL musical. Mwahaha, I'm so mean. :)

Urgh....
Performing Arts tomorrow, and I'm singing Wishing you were somehow here again. And I'm nervous, even though I SWORE I didn't care...I care.

Honestly, you'd think I'd learn. "Don't pick songs with high notes in them. You won't hit it, you'll look like a dick." I had my lesson tonight and I hit that G, I raised my eyebrows and I think I was even standing on my tiptoes. Of course if I pull the constipated face I was probably wearing I'll get laughed off the stage, maybe I should have a sign asking them to close their eyes....

But it's the first time I've hit that damm G with enough force for it not to sound pathetic, and I really don't know why tonight is the night, considering I'm quite tired. Ah well, the Lord works in mysterious ways. :)

Hopefully it'll carry over till tomorrow, if it does my All Star Musical Song at stagedoor is being changed to Wishing. If it's a mess, we'll be sticking with ToM.

Catcha, Kel.

*Triumphant trumpet music* My first entry!!
My very first entry. If I didn’t have such an incredible amount of English Lit homework to do, I might actually write something decent. But due to time I think this little out pouring of emotion shall be brief. :)

The idea was inspired by Ben, although I doubt I’ll have the energy or mental capacity to make my entries as sarcastic or exciting as his. In all probability this will end up as a bitching journal, (possibly not a good idea due to the fact that the majority of people I’d be bitching about actually have the internet.) But oh well, I’m sure I do such a poor job of hiding the anger at school that they’d be pretty well aware of who they are. Mwwhahaha! :) And I don’t think I need to be discrete in outpouring my anger against a certain music teacher, I doubt he has the intellectual ability to turn on a computer, let alone use one. (Letting the anger flow now aren’t I?) ;)

Alrighty, looks like I’ll be hitting the Handmaid’s Tale study guides, (what’s the point of reading the book if you can read a summary eh?)

Kelly.
