SMOFFO is my new project. It's a webToon, and it's bound to be good. Trust me... the animations are great so far! The art will be in the ever-famous Jhonen Vasquez style. Nice thick lines, big eyes, small or no noses, rounded limbs, and all o' that. I'm sure you've seen some of JV's work, and if you haven't you really need to, it's great stuff! Anyway, the toon follows SMOFFO, a hyperactive 14 year old at school, home, and many other... interesting places doing many weird things, like calling in the police for some pizza, shoplifting sugar and candy, oh and here's my favorite, getting his pants down from the school flag pole. There are also many other character. For example, SCABS, he is SMOFFO's brother. He gets chased around by Jenny, who ADORES him. SCABS is also a little hyperactive. You can find links to character biographies, which are at the main page for SMOFFO on the side... under SMOFFO Stuff, or at the bottom of the page. This series isn't like most of the popular series these days. SMOFFO doesn't have any powers, he doesn't fit in, and he isn't or never will be a robot*cough*My Life as a Teenage Robot*cough*. It's a lot like Angry Beavers mixed with The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy with a side-dish of Invader ZIM. All of which are great shows! From Angry Beavers you get the whole not fitting in and wackyness, from Billy and Mandy you get more wackyness, and from ZIM, you get the art-inspiration and s'more wackyness. Ah... the wackyness. So much wacky... it fills me with happy. Pictures, you ask? I still have to learn how to put the pictures where I want them and we don't have a whole lot of pictures. Fan art and fan fics are appreciated, too, but I doubt you'll be able to do any of that until the show is released. Yes. The show has not been released, but all projects have to start somewhere... right now we are currently on the pilot. We need voice actors before we can draw the toon, so head over to go SMOFFO Forum (links at bottom and side) and give us some voice samples from the lines of the pilot. You should be able the find the script quite easily, if not just zap me a Private Message on the board. NOTE: You must be registered on the board to post messages and send Private Messages.
