I am a math major at Purdue University Calumet; schimpfb1 is my username, and my chosen alias for this website. I have always been a creative person, but I have also had a lot of trouble following through with any of my ideas. This website is an attempt to find some kind of a solution to my problem, mostly through the easiest projects to finish: writing. Lets face it, just about anyone can put together a five hundred word essay that follows a single thesis, and the creative process is the same whether you are making music, painting, writing, or anything else. I grew up playing the trumpet in my school's band, and my junior year of High School I became interested in composing music myself. I took a year of music theory in high school, and majored in music for one year at Ball State University. I sill love music and composition, as well as photography and writing, and to be honest, my main creative goal is not writing but music composition/performance.
