They did a bit about the gay cartoon characters on the radio yesterday. They got it from a gay web radio site that I can't remember the name of.

Peppermint Patty was like no. 2 on the list of closeted gay characters.

Marmalade Atkins (well, not her, but the girl who played her) is still gorge. She acts in Tracy Beaker, some shit series on Nickelodeon or somesuch.

Didn't Charlotte Coleman play Marmalade? If so, she died a few years ago. A tragic occurrence blamed on an asthma attack but I remember her looking pretty ill for some time prior to her death. :-(

Whoops! T'was I, as if you didn't know. I also forgot to mention the secret affair between Tintin and Captain Haddock, an obvious long term relationship if you ask me. Those Thompson Twins could never get a look in.

Bert and Ernie, I found to be annoying and obvious with their depraved behaviour only stifled by the presence of their surrogate child, the rubber ducky.

I don't know about Kermit as he doesn't seem spectacularly anything but that Grover character was a right dodgy geeza. Then there's Big Bird and Snuffleupaguss whose similarity in size precluded anyone else from their torrid transgressions upon each other.

More than one person I know believes that Janice from the Muppets is bi. She plays bass in the band (Electric Mayhem). I have no opinion about this... she's Janice. She plays the bass. She's a muppet. Is she bi? I have no idea. I always thought she was Floyd's chick.
