Paparazzi Frenzy!

Our local media darling, Lupita Castro was spotted at a trendy store in El Paseo yesterday after a paparazzi frenzy ensued. The Mexican press managed to follow Castro throughout her shopping spree. The petite actress wore dark glasses with a baseball cap to be discrete but it failed. My sources tell me that Castro was a bit shaken up by the whole episode and commented she needed to hire security.

Lately our celebrity sightings haven’t been much. Barbara Sinatra had her celebrity invitational with special guest Michael Bolton and that was the cream of the crop of big spenders -- if your are rich, you were there. (Pictured: Barbara Sinatra with Suzanne Somers and Kathy Lee)

Also, I hear that Gloria Greer, the Palm Springs Life editor and TV personality was having a public tantrum at the Mccallum Theater after her tickets for Ray Romano were not free.

The Houston's made an appearance to the delight of the guest. Romano joked with Mr. Houston about his age and Mr. Houston took it in stride.
